* ARM: mach-shmobile: sh7367/G3EVM evt2irq() updateMagnus Damm2010-05-22
| | | | | | | | This patch updates the irq numbers on sh7367/G3EVM to make use of evt2irq() and intcs_evt2irq(). Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@opensource.se> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

* ARM: mach-shmobile: Set CONSISTENT_DMA_SIZE to 158 MBMagnus Damm2010-05-19
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch sets CONSISTENT_DMA_SIZE to 158 MB for all SH-Mobile ARM processors. The DMA area is mapped at 0xf6000000 - 0xffdfffff, on top of the 256 MB I/O window at 0xe6000000. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@opensource.se> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

* ARM: mach-shmobile: sh7372 clock framework support V2Magnus Damm2010-05-19
| | | | | | | | This patch is V2 of clock framework tables/code for sh7372. MSTP are included for KEYSC, SCIF, IIC, USB, SDHI and UIO. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@opensource.se> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* ARM: mach-shmobile: Use shared clock frameworkMagnus Damm2010-05-19
| | | | | | | | | | Teach SH-Mobile ARM how to make use of the shared SH clock framework. This commit is one atomic switch that dumps the local hackery and instead links in the shared clock framework code in drivers/sh. A few local functions are kept in clock.c. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@opensource.se> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* ARM: mach-shmobile: Enable TMU driver buildMagnus Damm2010-05-19
| | | | | | | Allow users to build the TMU driver on SH-Mobile ARM. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@opensource.se> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* ARM: mach-shmobile: sh7372 INTCS supportMagnus Damm2010-05-19
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add support for the sh7372 INTCS interrupt controller. INTCS is the interrupt controller for the sh7372 SuperH processor core. It is tied into the INTCA interrupt controller which interfaces to the ARM processor. INTCS support is implemented using a new INTC table together with a chained interrupt handler that ties into the already supported INTCA controller. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@opensource.se> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
* ARM: mach-shmobile: Use 0x2200 as INTCS_VECT_BASEMagnus Damm2010-05-19
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Change INTCS_VECT_BASE from 0x3400 to 0x2200. The old value 0x3400 gave the INTCA and INTCS interrupt conrollers separated spaces, but required ARM support for more than 512 NR_IRQS which is not in place at this point. The value 0x2200 will make some of the INTCA interrupts make use of empty INTCS areas. This is a bit more error prone but works fine as a workaround for G3, G3 and AP4. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The MSM SOC's DMA controller contains several security domains. On the MSM7x00, only security domain 3 is accessible to our CPU. The 7x30, however, uses security domain 2. Fix up the register definition macros to select this appropriately, based on configured target. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | GPIO support for Qualcomm SOCs requires interaction with the radio (baseband processor). | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The 'PCOM' method of clock control (commands issued to the radio CPU) is shared across several (but not all) Qualcomm SOCs. | | * arm: msm: smd: fix SMD modem processor sync conditionDaniel Walker2010-05-12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When booting up we need to wait for the modem processor to partially boot. This is because the modem processor does resource allocation for us. If we don't wait the modem won't honor our requests and we end up crashing or in an unknown state. This change just formalizes the waiting process. Signed-off-by: Daniel Walker <c_dwalke@quicinc.com>

| | * arm: msm: smd: convert unsigned addr to unsigned longDaniel Walker2010-05-12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | "unsigned" translates to "unsigned int", but this value holds an address. We always want to use unsigned long for addresses since it will change size to fit the machine. This just convert the one address holder to unsigned long. | | * arm: msm: smd: use either package v3 or v4 not bothDaniel Walker2010-05-12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This modifies SMD to use either the package v3 or package v4, but not both. The current code tries to allocate as v4 on all system which can produce a scary looking error message on boot up, smem_find(16, 40): wrong size 16424 smd_alloc_channel() cid=02 size=08192 'SMD_RPCCALL' With this error the code then falls back on the package v3 allocation method. This method is inefficient because it causes a slow down on some systems even when the allocation method can be determined at compile time. It also causes a kernel size increase that effects all system and is not needed. This change corrects the allocation to use one method or the other and not both. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Forcing the alignment prevents gcc from generating byte reads for word member variables. Lack of this caused issues when the app processor modified struct members and the modem saw a partial word write.
