git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc
Pull ARM driver updates from Olof Johansson:
"Updates of SoC-near drivers and other driver updates that makes more
sense to take through our tree.
The largest part of this is a conversion of device registration for
some renesas shmobile/sh devices over to use resources. This has
required coordination with the corresponding arch/sh changes, and
we've agreed to merge the arch/sh changes through our tree.
Added in this branch is support for Trusted Foundations secure
firmware, which is what is used on many of the commercial Nvidia Tegra
products that are in the market, including the Nvidia Shield. The
code is local to arch/arm at this time since it's uncertain whether it
will be shared with arm64 longer-term, if needed we will refactor
later.
A couple of new RTC drivers used on ARM boards, merged through our
tree on request by the RTC maintainer.
... plus a bunch of smaller updates across the board, gpio conversions
for davinci, etc"

The Versatile FPGA interrupt controller supports cascading interrupts,
i.e. that its output is connected to the input of another interrupt
controller. This makes it possible to pass a parent interrupt from
the device tree and print it in the boot log if applicable.

ARM: tegra: Trusted Foundations firmware support
Add support for the Trusted Foundations secure-mode firmware, as found
on NVIDIA SHIELD. This allows Linux to run in non-secure mode on this
board; all previous Tegra support has assumed the kernel is running in
secure mode.
(The base TF support has been discussed back and forth a lot; for now
the most logical place for it seems to be under arch/arm, so we're adding
it here. We can move it out to a common location in the future if needed).

Pull ARM SoC DT updates from Olof Johansson:
"DT and DT-conversion-related changes for various ARM platforms. Most
of these are to enable various devices on various boards, etc, and not
necessarily worth enumerating.
New boards and systems continue to come in as new devicetree files
that don't require corresponding C changes any more, which is
indicating that the system is starting to work fairly well.
A few things worth pointing out:
* ST Ericsson ux500 platforms have made the major push to move over
to fully support the platform with DT
* Renesas platforms continue their conversion over from legacy
platform devices to DT-based for hardware description"

MSTP clocks are gate clocks controlled through a register that handles
up to 32 clocks. The register is often sparsely populated.
Those clocks are found on Renesas ARM SoCs.

DIV6 clocks are divider gate clocks controlled through a single
register. The divider is expressed on 6 bits, hence the name, and can
take values from 1/1 to 1/64.
Those clocks are found on Renesas ARM SoCs.

The R-Car Gen2 SoCs (R8A7790 and R8A7791) have several clocks that are
too custom to be supported in a generic driver. Those clocks can be
divided in two categories:
- Fixed rate clocks with multiplier and divisor set according to boot
mode configuration
- Custom divider clocks with SoC-specific divider values
This driver supports both.

This patch updates description of device tree bindings for Exynos MCT
(multicore timers). Namely:
- added note about simplified specification of local timer interrupts,
when using single per-processor interrupt for all local timers,
- changed first example that was incorrectly suggesting that global
timer interrupts are optional,
- simplified example interrupt map,
- added example showing simplified local timer interrupt specification.

In response to the "undocumented compatible strings" message, here is a
patch which is adding the precision of two "chips" that should be used for
the "atmel,<chip>-aic" compatibility string.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/linusw/linux-stericsson into next/dt
From Linus Walleij:
Ux500 device tree patches for v3.14, take one:
- Fix up tc3589x bindings so this chip works again.
- Remove SSP platform devices, as we now boot from device tree
exclusively.
- Delete surplus AB8500/DB8500 platform data, not obtained from
the device tree.
- Add DMA config for the MSP devices.
- A series of 21 patches moving pin control config for the
on-chip Nomadik pin controller from the board file
to the device tree, step by step.
- Two patches to the STE DMA40 driver regarding the high-prio
DMA channel so this can be moved to the device tree. Both have
Vinod's ACK.
- Decommission of the non-device tree boot path for the timer
initialization code.
- Deletion of the non-devicetree probe path from the MTU timer
driver, as all platforms using it are now using device tree.
This has Daniel Lezcano's ACK.

Pull ARM SoC platform changes from Olof Johansson:
"New core SoC-specific changes.
New platforms:
* Introduction of a vendor, Hisilicon, and one of their SoCs with
some random numerical product name.
* Introduction of EFM32, embedded platform from Silicon Labs (ARMv7m,
i.e. !MMU).
* Marvell Berlin series of SoCs, which include the one in Chromecast.
* MOXA platform support, ARM9-based platform used mostly in
industrial products
* Support for Freescale's i.MX50 SoC.
Other work:
* Renesas work for new platforms and drivers, and conversion over to
more multiplatform-friendly device registration schemes.
* SMP support for Allwinner sunxi platforms.
* ... plus a bunch of other stuff across various platforms"
