<h3>Cyber-Physical Systems Course</h3>

<h3>Visiting Researcher</h3>
<p>The UNC Real-Time Systems Group welcomes PhD student <a href="http://www.chalmers.se/cse/SV/personal/pathan-risat">Risat Pathan</a> of Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Risat will be here for four months, working with Prof. Sanjoy Baruah.</p>

<h3>Visiting Researchers</h3>
<p>We are pleased to welcome two visiting researchers.
Starting February 8, Prof. Suriayati Chuprat, from the Univ. of Technology, Malaysia, will be visiting for a month.
Starting March 1, Prof. Gerhard Fohler, from TU Kaiserslautern, Germany, will be visiting for a week.

<h3>New LITMUS<sup>RT</sup> Release</h3>
<p>LITMUS<sup>RT</sup> 2011.1 has been released. Among other changes, LITMUS<sup>RT</sup> has been rebased to Linux kernel version 2.6.36 and now supports the ARM CPU architecture. More information is available at <a href="http://www.cs.unc.edu/~anderson/litmus-rt/">the LITMUS<sup>RT</sup> website</a>.</p>
