Use the common unflatten_and_copy_device_tree to copy the built-in FDT
out of init section. This moves the copy later in the boot, but there
do not appear to be any references to strings in the FDT before the copy.

Save some pointless copying of the kernel command line and just use
boot_command_line instead. The DT code already handles CONFIG_CMDLINE,
so a separate copy is not needed.

This patch moves the handling of the chip's enable pin from the board
code into the driver. It also updates all board-code files using the
driver to incorporate this change.
This is needed for device tree support of the enable pin.

"Here is the bulk of GPIO changes for the v3.13 development cycle.
I've got ACKs for the things that affect other subsystems (or it's my
own subsystem, like pinctrl). Most of that pertain to an attempt from
my side to consolidate and get rid of custom GPIO implementations in
the ARM tree. I will continue doing this.
The main change this time is the new GPIO descriptor API, background
for this can be found in Corbet's summary from this january in LWN:

Summary:
- Merged the GPIO descriptor API from Alexandre Courbot. This is a
first step toward trying to get rid of the global GPIO numberspace
for the future.
- Add an API so that driver can flag that a certain GPIO line is
being used by a irqchip backend for generating IRQs, so that we can
enforce checks, like not allowing users to switch that line to an
output at runtime, since this makes no sense. Implemented
corresponding calls in a few select drivers.
- ACPI GPIO cleanups, refactorings and switch to using the
descriptor-based interface.
- Support for the TPS80036 Palmas GPIO variant.
- A new driver for the Broadcom Kona GPIO SoC IP block.
- Device tree support for the PCF857x driver.
- A set of ARM GPIO refactorings with the goal of getting rid of a
bunch of custom GPIO implementations from the arch/arm/* tree:
* Move the IOP GPIO driver to the GPIO subsystem and fix all users
to use the gpiolib API for accessing GPIOs. Delete the old
custom GPIO implementation.
* Delete the unused custom PXA GPIO implemention.
* Convert all users of the IXP4 custom GPIO implementation to use
gpiolib and delete the custom implementation.
* Delete the custom Gemini GPIO implementation, also completely
unused.

The Gemini has no need of a <mach/gpio.h> header as this is only
used by the machine-local gpio.c gpiochip driver, which is also
only using the irq_to_gpio() macro. Delete the file, move the single
macro into the driver and remove the NEED_MACH_GPIO_H flag.

The local <mach/gpio.h> file on the w90x900 is completely unused
and the platform does not define NEED_MACH_GPIO_H.

Now that these custom GPIO accessors are only used from the
gpio chip in this machine, move the code out of the include
file and right next to the gpiochip implementation.

A few call sites inside mach-ixp4xx were still using the custom
ixp4xx GPIO API with gpio_line_* accessors, convert all these
to use the standard gpiolib functions instead. Also attempt to
request and label all GPIOs before use. Move the GPIO requests
to per-machine device_initcalls() so we are not dependent on the
GPIO chip to be available at machine_init time.

after Haojian removed the remaining content in

That commit added these two lines:
However it seems like deleting the file has no effect
whatsoever on the kernel compilation.

This converts the IOP32x and IOP33x platforms to pass their
base address offset by a resource attached to a platform device
instead of using static offset macros implicitly passed
through <linux/gpio.h> including <mach/gpio.h>. Delete the
local <mach/gpio.h> and <asm/hardware/iop3xx-gpio.h> headers
and remove the selection of NEED_MACH_GPIO_H.
Pass the virtual address as a resource in the platform device
at this point for bisectability, next patch will pass the
physical address as is custom.

Refrain from using the custom gpio_line_get() to read the power
key on the N2100, use the gpiolib function gpio_get() instead.
Also request the line in the GPIOs initicall, and move the poll
timer setup to that inicall so the gpio chip is available before
we request this GPIO and start to poll it.

GPIO calls to issue a reset of the machine instead of using the

"Main pin control pull request for the v3.13 cycle.
The changes hitting arch/blackfin are ACKed by the Blackfin
maintainer, and the device tree bindings are ACKed to the extent
possible by someone from the device tree maintainers group.
- Blackfin ADI pin control driver, we move yet another architecture
under this subsystem umbrella.
- Incremental updates to the Renesas Super-H PFC pin control driver.
New subdriver for the r8a7791 SoC.
- Non-linear GPIO ranges from the gpiolib side of things, this
enabled simplified device tree bindings by referring entire groups
of pins on some pin controller to act as back-end for a certain
GPIO-chip driver.
- Add the Abilis TB10x pin control driver used on the ARC
architecture. Also the corresponding GPIO driver is merged through
this tree, so the ARC has full support for pins and GPIOs after
this.
- Subdrivers for Freescale i.MX1, i.MX27 and i.MX50 pin controller
instances. The i.MX1 and i.MX27 is an entirely new family
(silicon) of controllers whereas i.MX50 is a variant of the
previous supported controller.
- Then the usual slew of fixes, cleanups and incremental updates"
The ARC DT changes are apparently still pending, that hopefully gets
sorted out in a timely manner.

"Lots of driver updates here plus some nice new core features, the main
one being the first:
- Enable support for providing a dummy regulator when we know that
one must exist for the device to be functional. This makes it much
easier to add regulator support to drivers since we don't require
that the machine integration for all systems using the device be

When restoring the PPR value, we incorrectly access the thread structure
at a time where MSR:RI is clear, which means we cannot recover from nested
faults. However the thread structure isn't covered by the "bolted" SLB
entries and thus accessing can fault.
This fixes it by splitting the code so that the PPR value is loaded into
a GPR before MSR:RI is cleared.

We're assigning PE numbers after the completion of PCI probe. During
the PCI probe, we had PE#0 as the super container to encompass all
PCI devices. However, that's inappropriate since PELTM has ascending
order of priority on search on P7IOC. So we need PE#127 takes the
role that PE#0 has previously. For PHB3, we still have PE#0 as the
reserved PE.
The patch supposes that the underly firmware has built the RID to
PE# mapping after resetting IODA tables: all PELTM entries except
last one has invalid mapping on P7IOC, but all RTEs have binding
to PE#0. The reserved PE# is being exported by firmware by device
tree.

We need add PE to its own PELTV. Otherwise, the errors originated
from the PE might contribute to other PEs. In the result, we can't
clear up the error successfully even we're checking and clearing
errors during access to PCI config space.

Indirect XSCOM addresses normally have the top bit set (of the 64-bit
address). This doesn't work via the normal debugfs interface, so we use
a different encoding, which we need to convert before calling OPAL.

The current debugfs interface to scom is essentially unused
and racy. It uses two different files "address" and "data"
to perform accesses which is at best impractical for anything
but manual use by a developer.
This replaces it with an "access" file which represent the entire
scom address space which can be lseek/read/writen too.
This file only supports accesses that are 8 bytes aligned and
multiple of 8 bytes in size. The offset is logically the SCOM
address multiplied by 8.
Since nothing in userspace exploits that file at the moment, the ABI
change is a no-brainer.

The wrapper script needs an explicit rule for the "of" boot
wrapper (generic wrapper, similar to pseries). Before
0c9fa29149d3726e14262aeb0c8461a948cc9d56 it was hanlded
implicitly by the statement:
platformo=$object/"$platform".o
But now that epapr.o needs to be added, that doesn't work
and an explicit rule must be added.

Fixes for build issues when LPB FIFO driver is configured as
a module, removal of #ifdefs in mpc512x DIU platform code and
a revert of recent changes to mpc52xx PIC driver. Wolfram
provided a better fix for PIC driver build issue popping up
when older gcc-4.3.5 is used.

Several functions are only ever referenced locally, so make them static.
Of those functions, many of them are protected by an #if. However, the
code which can compile fine in either case.
Now that (1) the unneeded code is marked 'static' and (2) the code is
only used under a C 'if (IS_ENABLED(CONFIG_FB_FSL_DIU))', the compiler
can automatically remove the unneeded code, and we don't need the #if or
the empty stub functions.

This more or less reverts commit 6391f697d4892a6f233501beea553e13f7745a23.
Instead of adding an unneeded 'default', mark the variable to prevent
the false positive 'uninitialized var'. The other change (fixing the
printout) needs revert, too. We want to know WHICH critical irq failed,
not which level it had.

a disabled Kconfig option results in a reference to a not implemented
routine when the IS_ENABLED() macro is used for both conditional
implementation of the routine as well as a C language source code test
at the call site -- the "if (0) func();" construct only gets eliminated
later by the optimizer, while the compiler already has emitted its
warning about "func()" being undeclared
provide an empty implementation for the mpc512x_setup_diu() and
mpc512x_init_diu() routines in case of the disabled option, to avoid the
compiler warning which is considered fatal and breaks compilation
the bug appeared with commit 2abbbb63c90ab55ca3f054772c2e5ba7df810c48
