* MIPS: Netlogic: Remove XLR early serial setupJayachandran C2014-01-24
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The early serial code is not needed because we already have early printk support provided by common/earlycons.c This change also fixes the following build error that occurs when CONFIG_SERIAL_8250 is not configured for Netlogic XLR boards: arch/mips/built-in.o: In function `nlm_early_serial_setup': setup.c:(.init.text+0x274): undefined reference to `early_serial_setup' make: *** [vmlinux] Error 1 Reported-by: Markos Chandras <markos.chandras@imgtec.com> Signed-off-by: Jayachandran C <jchandra@broadcom.com> Signed-off-by: John Crispin <blogic@openwrt.org> Patchwork: http://patchwork.linux-mips.org/patch/6083/

| * MIPS: Netlogic: Use PIC timer as a clocksourceJayachandran C2013-02-16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The XLR/XLS/XLP PIC has a 8 countdown timers which run at the PIC frequencey. One of these can be used as a clocksource to provide timestamps that is common across cores. This can be used in place of the count/compare clocksource which is per-CPU. On XLR/XLS PIC registers are 32-bit, so we just use the lower 32-bits of the PIC counter. On XLP, the whole 64-bit can be used. Provide common macros and functions for PIC timer registers on XLR/XLS and XLP, and use them to register a PIC clocksource. * | MIPS: Whitespace cleanup.Ralf Baechle2013-02-01
|/ | | | | | | | Having received another series of whitespace patches I decided to do this once and for all rather than dealing with this kind of patches trickling in forever. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
* MIPS: Netlogic: convert to use OHCI platform driverFlorian Fainelli2012-10-22
| | | | | | | | | The OHCI platform driver is suitable for use by the Netlogic XLR platform so use this driver instead of the OHCI XLS platform driver. * MIPS: Netlogic: use ehci-platform driverFlorian Fainelli2012-10-22
| | | | | | | | | The EHCI platform driver is suitable for use by the Netlogic XLR platform since there is nothing specific that the EHCI XLR platform driver does.
