In order for the architected timers support to be enabled in the kernel, this
option has to be enabled. Otherwise, the architected timers driver won't be
compiled in, and we will not get to use them.

When building a kernel with support for both ARMv6 and ARMv7 but
no MMU, the call from tauros2_internal_init to adjust_cr causes
a link error. While that could probably be resolved, we don't
actually support cache-tauros2 on ARMv6 any more. All PJ4 CPU
implementations support both ARMv6 and ARMv7 and we already assume
that we are using them only in ARMv7 mode.
Removing the ARMv6 code path reduces the code size and avoids
the linker error.

Davinci boards tend to have older booloaders without DTB support.
Enable appended DTB support by default to allow DT booting on older
platforms. While there, also enable /proc/device-tree support for
easy verification of DT boot.

CONFIG_NEON is meant to be user-selectable. Turning it on
unconditionally means we can't build a smaller kernel when
we don't need it, and causes build errors if CONFIG_VFP
is not also enabled.
To still have neon enabled however, we need to turn it on
now in multi_v7_defconfig and mvebu_v7_defconfig.

When booting secondary CPU(s) which are not yet powergated, a wrong
check lead to a timeout after 100 jiffies. With this patch, we only
delay powergating if CPUs are still not powered yet.

Attempt to invoke the prepare_idle() and do_idle() firmware calls
to power down a CPU so an underlying firmware gets informed of
the idle operation and performs it by itself if designed in such a way.

Some firmwares do not put the CPU into idle mode themselves, but still
need to be informed that the CPU is about to enter idle mode before this
happens. Add a prepare_idle() operation to the firmware_ops structure to
handle such cases.

When Trusted Foundations is detected as present on the system, but
Trusted Foundations support is not built into the kernel, the kernel
used to issue a panic very early during boot, leaving little clue to the
user as to what is going wrong.
It turns out that even without TF support built-in, the kernel can boot
on a TF-enabled system provided that SMP and cpuidle are disabled. This
patch does this and continue booting on one CPU, leaving the user with a
usable (however degraded) system.

Enable da8xx devices to build concurrently with older
(traditional) DaVinci devices. Do this by defining multiple
zreladdr values and enabling AUTO_ZRELADDR to prevent
build regressions. Note that we do not enable AUTO_ZRELADDR in
da8xx_omapl_defconfig since it is meant to be removed.

The tnetv107x support does not compile, and seems to have been broken
for a while with nobody caring to fix it. So far everyone I asked
said it's probably dead and completely unused and will never again
be needed in a future kernel release, so let's delete it.
If someone finds a use for this code later and is able to get it
to work again, we can always revert the removal.

This patch adds Maxime and Patrice to ARM/STi maintainers list.
As Stuart Menefy opted to be removed from the list, this patch removes
his email from maintainers. Updated my email with private email address.
This patch also adds few more drivers to the list so that get_maintainer

bounces.

Low-level debugging using the Broadcom Kona UART only makes sense on the
ARCH_BCM_MOBILE platform and would otherwise prevent ARCH_BCM_63XX from
picking up the right UART implementation by default.

Add support for the Broadcom BCM21664 mobile SoC. It has two Cortex-A9
cores like the BCM281xx family of chips. BCM21664 and BCM281xx share

With all the DT support preparation done, we are able to move Dove
to MVEBU easily. Legacy non-DT mach-dove is left untouched to rot
for a while before removal.

Convert the kirkwood t5325-setup.c to mostly device tree for
mach-mvebu. Part of the audio setup needs to remain in C for the
moment until suitable bindings are designed and implemented. So add

To prevent problems later with mvebu_v5_defconfig builds, we restrict
the scope of the changes this series makes.
Selecting ARCH_KIRKWOOD and MACH_KIRKWOOD is necessary during the
migration from mach-kirkwood to mach-mvebu. Until the last four legacy
kirkwood board files have a DT equivalent, we need to support building
DT from both mach-kirkwood and mach-mvebu.

The PCIe driver has been fully clock aware for quite a while. Remove
the kexec code to enable the PCIe clock, since the PCIe driver will do
the right thing.

kirkwood is very nearly fully DT. Remove most of the address
definitions from the header files and make it a local header file.

Add the Kirkwood PCIe compatibility string to mvebu-soc-id, so that it
can get the SoC ID and revision from the PCIe endpoints.

The mvebu system controller already supports restarting orion
systems. Remove all the C code which will be replaced by the system
controller.

Move the kirkwood DT support into mach-mvebu, and make them part of
ARCH_MULTI_V5. Minimal changes have been made in order to make it
boot. Cleanup of the header files and integration with mvebu will
take place in following patches.
In order to help Debian transition between mach-kirkwood and
mach-mvebu, the DTS files are compiled for both, allowing Debian to
continue using mach-kirkwood until all remaining boards are supported
by mach-mvebu. Debian is then expected to simply swap from
mach-kirkwood to mach-mvebu and mach-kirkwood will be removed.

Kirkwood, which uses the Feroceon L2 cache controller will soon be
moving into mach-mvebu. Allow the cache controller to be built in this
situation.

Instantiate the L2 cache from DT. Indicate in DT where the cache
control register is so that it is possible to enable/disable write
through on the CPU.

With the gradual move to DT, kirkwood has become a lot less dependent
on plat-orion. cache-feroceon-l2.h is the last dependency. Move it out
so we can drop plat-orion when building DT only kirkwood boards.
