Initialize the contents of the vectors page immediately after we
allocate the page, but before we map it. This avoids any possible
aliases with other mappings which may need to be flushed after the
page has been mapped irrespective of the cache type.
We follow this later with a flush_cache_all() after all static memory
mappings have been initialized, which ensures that this is safe from
any cache effects.

Add a new seqfile for reporting coherent DMA allocations. This contains
the address range, size and the function which was used to allocate
each region, allowing these allocations to be viewed in much the same
way as /proc/vmallocinfo.
The DMA coherent region has limited space, so this allows allocation
failures to be viewed, as well as finding out how much space is being
used.
Make sure this file is only readable by root - same as vmallocinfo - to
prevent information leakage.

This updates the Integrator defconfig to include the hardware
found on the Integrator/CP: SMC91X, CLCD, MMCI/PL180. Further
the sometimes disrupting VGA_CONSOLE is disabled (those who
have a VGA card can enable it) and typical default VFAT
layouts of the MMC cards are supported by enabling VFAT and
CP437 encoding of the file system.
After this my default kernels boot successfully on Integrator
AP and CP alike.

A number of places establish a PTE in our top page table and
immediately flush the TLB. Rather than having this at every callsite,
provide an inline function for this purpose.
This changes some global tlb flushes to be local; each time we setup
one of these mappings, we always do it with preemption disabled which
would prevent us migrating to another CPU.

Move the TOP_PTE address definitions to one central place so that it's

__u32 exists to avoid namespace clashes with userspace programs. It
should not be used outside header files, so convert to use u32 instead.
Also, don't mix uint32_t and __u32 - use the same type throughout the
file for consistency.

This patch allows cpupower tool to generate its output files in a
seperate directory. This is now possible by passing the 'O=<path>' to
the command line.
This can be usefull for a normal user if the kernel source code is
located in a read only location.
This is patch stole some bits of the perf makefile.

Use the '-p' and '-o' switches to specify the pathname of the output

The number of idle states was wrong.
The POLL idle state (on X86) was missed out:
Number of idle states: 4
Available idle states: C1-NHM C3-NHM C6-NHM
While the POLL is not a real idle state, its
statistics should still be shown. It's now also
explained in a detailed manpage.
This should fix a bug of missing the first idle
state on other archs.

AMD's BKDG (Bios and Kernel Developers Guide) talks in the CPU spec of their
CPU families about PCI registers defined by "device" (slot) and func(tion).
Assuming that CPU specific configuration PCI devices are always on domain
and bus zero a pci_slot_func_init() func which gets the slot and func of
the desired PCI device passed looks like the most convenient way.
This also obsoletes the PCI device id maintenance.

This patches fixes two things:
* Use gpio_valid function to check gpio before usage
This must be done after 63b4c29678500 which uses -EINVAL for unused pin's
* Use gpio_to_irq to convert gpio's to irq
The driver assumed a 1:1 mapping between gpio and irq numbers. This is no
longer true after d0fbda9add3281.
Tested on custom RM9200 board with 8gb CF card.

If pxa2xx_drv_pcmcia_add_one fails, it will go to err1 error path.
Add a missing clk_put in the error path.
Checking the ret value after the for loop is redundant, it is always false.
Thus remove the redundant checking.

Since commit [e58aa3d2: genirq: Run irq handlers with interrupts disabled],
We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled
and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler
returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a:
genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]).
So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed.

When merging DMA cookie changes a small chunk
of code was dropped. This broke imx-dma driver.
This patch adds this chunk again and fixes the problem.

i.MX2 and i.MX1 chips have the possibility to do
interleaved transfers with two constraints:
- Only one chunk can be used (i.e. only 2D transfers are allowed).
- Only 2 interleaved configurations can be applied at the same time
for all channels.
Since this patch adds a new resource 'slots_2d' which is shared
by all the DMA channels and to avoid disgustin locking BUGs, the
'lock' member has been moved to the global 'imxdma_engine' structure.

It makes no sense keeping an 'in_use' flag when the multiple descriptor
mechanism already prevents a new DMA transfer to be issued when another

This function is only used once in the driver and has a lot of checks
that are not needed anymore. For this reason it's been merged
with 'imxdma_enable_hw'.

dmaengine now provides 'enum dma_transfer_direction' to properly
specify DMA transfer direction. For this reason, DMA_MODE_* defines
are replaced by this new type and therefore dma_mode member becomes
redundant.

Internal structure is just an auxiliary structure used for the initial
merge which is meant to be gone. As data member is not use anywhere
we can simply remove it.

It is mainly a simple merge changing the prefix of some
functions to fit the imx-dma namings.
As there are no users of the old dma-v1.c api we can safely
remove this file.

This patch introduces DMA_SLAVE_CONFIG to at_hdmac Atmel DMA driver.
It is needed to fix a regression in the use of atmel-mci.c driver on Atmel
AT91 platforms brouth by e2b35f3:
"dmaengine/dw_dmac: Fix dw_dmac user drivers to adapt to slave_config changes"
We remove some parts of the private structure "at_dma_slave" and use the
information provided by "struct dma_slave_config": source/destination
peripheral registers and access width.
AT_DMA_SLAVE_WIDTH_* values used previously are not needed anymore as we
now use the standard ones. Although some conversion functions are needed to
match register expected values.
Some AT91 sub-architecture specific files are slightly touched by this patch
but it cannot be split because it can break compilation.

Add context parameter to device_prep_slave_sg() and device_prep_dma_cyclic()
interfaces to allow passing client/target specific information associated
with the data transfer.
Modify all affected DMA engine drivers.

Add inline wrappers for device_prep_slave_sg() and device_prep_dma_cyclic()
interfaces to hide new parameter from current users of affected interfaces.
Convert current users to use new wrappers instead of direct calls.

As the SDMA controller can operate without an external firmware being loaded,
treat the firmware related messages as warnings rather than errors.
