* ARM: mx5: Replace clk_register_clkdev with clock DT lookupFabio Estevam2012-11-22
| | | | | | | | | Similarly as it was done for mx6q, use a DT lookup in order to make maintainance task for the clock devices easier. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Acked-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* ARM i.MX51 babbage: Add display supportSascha Hauer2012-11-16
| | | | | | | | | | The babbage board has a DVI-I output which allows to output analog and digital signals simultaneously. This patch adds support for it to the devicetree. The DDC signals are not wired up on the board, so DRM will fall back on default VESA modes. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Acked-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>

* ARM i.MX5: switch IPU clk support to devicetree bindingsSascha Hauer2012-11-16
| | | | | | | | | | | The i.MX5 clk support has platform based clock bindings for the IPU. IPU support is devicetree only, so move them over to devicetree based bindings. Also, enable MIPI clocks which do not have a device associated with, but still need to be enabled to do graphics on i.MX51. * ARM i.MX6: fix ldb_di_sel muxSteffen Trumtrar2012-11-16
| | | | | | | | This adds the mmdc_ch1 as a possible parent for the ldb_di clk. According to the datasheet, this clock can be selected at this mux. Signed-off-by: Steffen Trumtrar <s.trumtrar@pengutronix.de> Acked-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
* ARM i.MX51: setup MIPI during startupSascha Hauer2012-11-16
| | | | | | | | | | The MIPI interface has to be initialized for proper IPU support. The MIPI officially is not supported, but still needs initialization. This patch adds this to the SoC startup as all it does is poking some magic values into registers for which we do not have documentation. * mx2_camera: Fix regression caused by clock conversionFabio Estevam2012-11-16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since mx27 transitioned to the commmon clock framework in 3.5, the correct way to acquire the csi clock is to get csi_ahb and csi_per clocks separately. By not doing so the camera sensor does not probe correctly: soc-camera-pdrv soc-camera-pdrv.0: Probing soc-camera-pdrv.0 mx2-camera mx2-camera.0: Camera driver attached to camera 0 ov2640 0-0030: Product ID error fb:fb mx2-camera mx2-camera.0: Camera driver detached from camera 0 mx2-camera mx2-camera.0: MX2 Camera (CSI) driver probed, clock frequency: 66500000 Adapt the mx2_camera driver to the new clock framework and make it functional again. * ARM: clk-imx27: Add missing clock for mx2-cameraFabio Estevam2012-11-16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | During the clock conversion for mx27 the "per4_gate" clock was missed to get registered as a dependency of mx2-camera driver. In the old mx27 clock driver we used to have: DEFINE_CLOCK1(csi_clk, 0, NULL, 0, parent, &csi_clk1, &per4_clk); ,so does the same in the new clock driver Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Acked-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* ARM i.MX27: Fix low reference clock pathSascha Hauer2012-11-16
| | | | | | | | | | The i.MX27 clock tree can either be driven from a 26MHz oscillator or from a 32768Hz oscillator. The latter was not properly implemented, the mux between these two pathes was missing. Add this mux and while at it rename the 'prem' (premultiplier) clk to 'fpm' (Frequency Pre-Multiplier) to better match the datasheet. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
* ARM: dts: imx27-3ds: Remove local watchdog inclusionFabio Estevam2012-11-16

| * ARM: imx: select HAVE_IMX_SRC when SMP is enabledShawn Guo2012-10-23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | With being part of multi-platform support, SMP can be enabled by other platform even when SOC_IMX6Q is deselected. It leads to a situation that arch/arm/mach-imx/platsmp.c is built without HAVE_IMX_SRC selection which will cause build error. For example, the following link errors will be seen when building imx5 with other v7 platforms. arch/arm/mach-imx/built-in.o: In function `imx_cpu_die': platform-ahci-imx.c:(.text+0x219c): undefined reference to `imx_enable_cpu' arch/arm/mach-imx/built-in.o: In function `imx_boot_secondary': platform-ahci-imx.c:(.cpuinit.text+0x14): undefined reference to `imx_set_cpu_jump' platform-ahci-imx.c:(.cpuinit.text+0x20): undefined reference to `imx_enable_cpu' Select HAVE_IMX_SRC as long as SMP is enabled to fix the problem. | * ARM: imx: enable multi-platform buildShawn Guo2012-10-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It enables multi-platform build for imx. With ARCH_MULTI_* options coming to play, ARCH_MXC becomes an user invisible option, while ARCH_IMX_V4_V5 and ARCH_IMX_V6_V7 get removed. Both imx_v4_v5_defconfig and imx_v6_v7_defconfig get updated to adopt the changes. AUTO_ZRELADDR and ARM_PATCH_PHYS_VIRT are selected by ARCH_MXC now to save the duplication. Headers timex.h and uncompress.h are not needed for multi-platform build. Remove them. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
| * ARM: imx: call mxc_device_init() in soc specific functionShawn Guo2012-10-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | mxc_device_init() is a core_initcall function used to register devices for mxc_aips_bus and mxc_ahb_bus, which are needed by gpio and dma device registration. Instead of being a core_initcall function, we have it called in soc specific initialization function before gpio and dma devices get registered, so that it will not be called for other platforms when we enable multi-platform support for imx. | * ARM: imx: remove header file mach/irqs.hShawn Guo2012-10-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The only mach/irqs.h user outside arch/arm/mach-imx is sound/soc/fsl/imx-pcm-fiq.c, which refers to mxc_set_irq_fiq(). Move the declaration into include/linux/platform_data/asoc-imx-ssi.h, so that we can remove mach/irqs.h includsion from imx-pcm-fiq.c. Inside arch/arm/mach-imx, the only users to mach/irqs.h are avic.c and tzic.c for referring to macro FIQ_START. Let's move the macro into irq-common.h and get rid of mach/irqs.h completely. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It moves a bunch of header files included in hardware.h and itself from mach-imx/include/mach to mach-imx, and updates users to include hardware.h rather than mach/hardware.h. The files in mach-imx/devices will need to include "../hardware.h". | * ARM: imx: move debug macros to include/debugShawn Guo2012-10-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Move imx debug-macro.S over to common debug macro directory. It removes the inclusion to hardware.h by hard-coding the physical address of uart port and copying IMX_IO_P2V from hardware.h. Since we will need a common solution, which might use a fixed virtual address for uart port across platforms, we make a copy of IMX_IO_P2V here as a temporary solution to enable low-level debug for imx multi-platform build. It's pretty much just a bunch of file renaming and Kconfig/Makefile merge. To make the change less invasive, we keep using Kconfig symbol CONFIG_ARCH_MXC for mach-imx sub-architecture. | * ARM: imx: move platform device code into mach-imxShawn Guo2012-10-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It moves platform device code from plat-mxc into mach-imx. Along with that, header devices-common.h gets moved from plat-mxc/include/mach/ into mach-imx/devices/. | * ARM: imx: remove unnecessary inclusion from device-imx*.hShawn Guo2012-10-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There is no need for device-imx*.h to include <soc>.h. Remove them and fix one indirect inclusion in mach-mx31ads.c. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org> Acked-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
| * ARM: imx: move iomux drivers and headers into mach-imxShawn Guo2012-10-14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The board files in mach-imx are the only users of iomux drivers and headers. Move them into mach-imx from plat-mxc. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org> Acked-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
