DT-enabled Marvell Kirkwood and Dove SoCs make use of an irqchip
driver. As expected for irqchip drivers, it uses a C-style
interrupt handler and therefore selects MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER.
Now, compiling a kernel with both non-DT and DT support enabled,
selecting MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER will break ASM irq handler used by
non-DT boards.
Therefore, we provide a C-style irq handler even for non-DT boards,
if MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER is set. By installing the C-style irq handler
in orion_irq_init this is transparent to all non-DT board files.
While the regression report was filed on Marvell Kirkwood, also
Marvell Dove non-DT boards are affected and fixed by this patch.

DEBUG_FS used to be selected by COMMON_CLK_DEBUG, which was enabled
by tegra_defconfig. However, this config option no longer exists, so
no longer selects DEBUG_FS, and nothing else selects it either. So,
"make tegra_defconfig" no longer enables DEBUG_FS in .config.
Rebuild tegra_defconfig on top of next-20140424, while manually
re-enabling DEBUG_FS.
Reasons for removed entries are:
- I2C_MUX: selected by MEDIA_SUBDRV_AUTOSELECT
- DRM_PANEL: selected by DRM_TEGRA
- NEW_LEDS: selected by many things; at least VT
- LEDS_CLASS: selected by many things; at least VT
- LEDS_TRIGGERS: selected by many things; at least VT
- COMMON_CLK_DEBUG: no longer exists

multi_v7_defconfig was missing a large number of options that were in
tegra_defconfig. This patch adds them. The changes fall into the
following categories:
* Enable more Tegra SoC options/drivers.
* Enable more drivers for Tegra boards.
* Enable more options that are useful for running distros.
The patch removes a few lines as well, simply because those options are
now selected by something else, and "make savedefconfig" removes them. I
verified that the options appear in .config after
"make multi_v7_defconfig".

This board was missed when converting all the others to proper
abstracted GPIO handling. Fix it up the right way by requesting
and driving GPIO line 0 high through gpiolib to power off the
machine.

still needed on the Integrator/CP (not the Integrator/AP).

need to be applied not only when system is booting, but when MPUSS hits
OSWR state through CPUIdle too. Without this WA the same issue is
reproduced now on boards PandaES and Tablet/Blaze with SOM OMAP4460
when CONFIG_CPU_IDLE is enabled.
After MPUSS has enterred OSWR and waken up:
- GIC distributor became disabled forever
- scheduling is not performed any more

builddeb generates a control file that says the linux-headers package
can only be built for the build system primary architecture. This
breaks cross-building configurations. We should use $debarch for this
instead.
Since $debarch is not yet set when generating the control file, set
Architecture: any and use control file variables to fill in the
description.

As indicated by Sekhar in [1], there seems to be a tendency to use
IS_ERR_VALUE to check the error result for pm_runtime_* functions which
make no sense considering commit c48cd65 (ARM: OMAP: use consistent
error checking) - the error values can either be < 0 for error OR
0, 1 in cases where we have success.
So, setup a coccinelle script to help identify the same.

The kernel postinst hook for initramfs-tools will build an initramfs
on installation unless $INITRD is set to 'No'. make-kpkg generates a
postinst script that sets this variable appropriately, but we don't.
Set it based on CONFIG_BLK_DEV_INITRD.
This should also work with dracut when <http://bugs.debian.org/729622>
is fixed.

Both proc files are writeable and used for configuring cells. But
there is missing correct mode flag for writeable files. Without
this patch both proc files are read only.
[ It turns out they aren't really read-only, since root can write to
them even if the write bit isn't set due to CAP_DAC_OVERRIDE ]

With commit d8d14bd09cdd ("fs/compat: fix lookup_dcookie() parameter
handling") I changed the type of the len parameter of the
lookup_dcookie() syscall.
However I missed that there was still a stale declaration in
arch/tile/.. which now causes a compile error on tile:

MF Symlinks are regular files containing content in a specified format.
The function couldbe_mf_symlink() checks the mode for a set S_IFREG bit
as a test to confirm that it is a regular file. This bit is also set for
other filetypes and simply checking for this bit being set may return
false positives.
We ensure that we are actually checking for a regular file by using the
S_ISREG macro to test instead.

When mounting with smb2 (or smb2.1 or smb3) we need to check to make
sure that attempts to query or set extended attributes do not
attempt to send the request with the older cifs protocol instead
(eventually we also need to add the support in SMB2
to query/set extended attributes but this patch prevents us from
using the wrong protocol for extended attribute operations).

When using posix extensions, dfs shares in the dfs root show up as
symlinks resulting in userland tools such as 'ls' calling readlink() on
these shares. Since these are dfs shares, we end up returning -EREMOTE.
$ ls -l /mnt

With added follow_link() support for dfs shares, when using unix
extensions, we call GET_DFS_REFERRAL to obtain the DFS referral and
return the first node returned.
The dfs share in the dfs root is now displayed in the following manner.

Add a new protocol ops function create_mf_symlink and have
create_mf_symlink() use it.
This patchset moves the MFSymlink operations completely to the
ops structure so that we only use the right protocol versions when

Rename open_query_close_cifs_symlink to cifs_query_mf_symlink() to make
the name more consistent with other protocol version specific functions.
We also pass tcon as an argument to the function. This is already
available in the calling functions and we can avoid having to make an
unnecessary lookup.

Recent changes to retry on ESTALE in linkat
(commit 442e31ca5a49e398351b2954b51f578353fdf210)
introduced a mountpoint reference leak and a small memory
leak in case a filesystem link operation returns ESTALE
which is pretty normal for distributed filesystems like
lustre, nfs and so on.
Free old_path in such a case.

hfsplus was already using the handlers for get and set operations,
and with the removal of can_set_xattr we've now allow operations that
wouldn't otherwise be allowed.
With this we can also centralize the special-casing of the osx.
attrs that don't have prefixes on disk in the osx xattr handlers.

Move sync_filesystem() after sb_prepare_remount_readonly(). If writers
sneak in anywhere from sync_filesystem() to sb_prepare_remount_readonly()
it can cause inodes to be dirtied and writeback to occur well after
sys_mount() has completely successfully.
This was spotted by corrupted ubifs filesystems on reboot, but appears
that it can cause issues with any filesystem using writeback.

Pull rtl8812ae staging wireless driver from Greg KH:
"Here's a single staging driver for a wireless chipset that has shown
up in the SteamBox hardware. It is merged separately from the "main"
staging pull request to sync up with the wireless api changes that
came in from the networking tree.
It's self-contained and works for me and others. Larry will be
replacing it with a "real" driver for 3.15, but for now this one is
needed"

When this driver failed to build in the linux-next tree, Stephen Rothwell
modified Kconfig to disable it. Now that the problems are fixed, that
change can be reverted.

As initially introduced, this driver failed to build in the linux-next
tree due to changes coming from newer developments arising in the
wireless trees. This patch removes incompatible code and provides
definitions for symbols that have been removed from mac80211.
In addition, several warnings were fixed.

I mushed the three modules (btcoexist, rtlwifi and rtl8821ae) together
into one, in order to make it all build as one stand-alone module.
After the btcoexist driver gets merged upstream, I'll pull it out of
here, and will continue to work on removing this version of rtlwifi in
order to use the in-kernel one.

Revert commit ef83b0781a73 "PCI: Remove from bus_list and release
resources in pci_release_dev()" that made some nasty race conditions
become possible. For example, if a Thunderbolt link is unplugged
and then replugged immediately, the pci_release_dev() resulting from
the hot-remove code path may be racing with the hot-add code path
which after that commit causes various kinds of breakage to happen
(up to and including a hard crash of the whole system).
Moreover, the problem that commit ef83b0781a73 attempted to address
cannot happen any more after commit 8a4c5c329de7 "PCI: Check parent
kobject in pci_destroy_dev()", because pci_destroy_dev() will now
return immediately if it has already been executed for the given
device.
Note, however, that the invocation of msi_remove_pci_irq_vectors()
removed by commit ef83b0781a73 from pci_free_resources() along with
the other changes made by it is not added back because of subsequent
code changes depending on that modification.
