* b43: Completely remove support for phy_aGuenter Roeck2016-06-16
| | | | | | | | Per Michael Büsch: "All a-phy code is usused", so remove it all. Cc: Michael Büsch <m@bues.ch> Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
* cfg80211: remove enum ieee80211_bandJohannes Berg2016-04-12
| | | | | | | | | This enum is already perfectly aliased to enum nl80211_band, and the only reason for it is that we get IEEE80211_NUM_BANDS out of it. There's no really good reason to not declare the number of bands in nl80211 though, so do that and remove the cfg80211 one. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
* b43: Fix memory leaks in b43_bus_dev_ssb_init and b43_bus_dev_bcma_initJia-Ju Bai2016-04-07
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The memory allocated by kzalloc in b43_bus_dev_ssb_init and b43_bus_dev_bcma_init is not freed. This patch fixes the bug by adding kfree in b43_ssb_remove, b43_bcma_remove and error handling code of b43_bcma_probe. Thanks Michael for his suggestion. * b43: Remove unnecessary synchronize_irq() before free_irq()Lars-Peter Clausen2016-02-25
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Calling synchronize_irq() right before free_irq() is quite useless. On one hand the IRQ can easily fire again before free_irq() is entered, on the other hand free_irq() itself calls synchronize_irq() internally (in a race condition free way), before any state associated with the IRQ is freed. Patch was generated using the following semantic patch: // <smpl> @@ expression irq; @@ -synchronize_irq(irq); free_irq(irq, ...); // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
* bcma: use _PMU_ in all names of PMU registersRafał Miłecki2016-02-06
| | | | | | | | | | | | PMU (Power Management Unit) seems to be a separated piece of hardware, just accessed using ChipCommon core registers. In recent Broadcom chipsets PMU is not bounded to CC but available as separated core. To make code cleaner & easier to review (for a correct R/W access) use clearer names.
