* powerpc/configs: Enable Intel i40e on 64 bit configsAnton Blanchard2016-10-04
| | | | | | | | We are starting to see i40e adapters in recent machines, so enable it in our configs. Signed-off-by: Anton Blanchard <anton@samba.org> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
* powerpc/configs: Change a few things from built in to modulesAnton Blanchard2016-10-04
| | | | | | | | Change a few devices and filesystems that are seldom used any more from built in to modules. This reduces our vmlinux about 500kB. Signed-off-by: Anton Blanchard <anton@samba.org> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
* powerpc/configs: Bump kernel ring buffer size on 64 bit configsAnton Blanchard2016-10-04
| | | | | | | | | | | | | When we issue a system reset, every CPU in the box prints an Oops, including a backtrace. Each of these can be quite large (over 4kB) and we may end up wrapping the ring buffer and losing important information. Bump the base size from 128kB to 256kB and the per CPU size from 4kB to 8kB. * powerpc/configs: Enable VMX cryptoAnton Blanchard2016-10-04
| | | | | | | | We see big improvements with the VMX crypto functions (often 10x or more), so enable it as a module. Signed-off-by: Anton Blanchard <anton@samba.org> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
* powerpc/configs: Remove old symbols from defconfigsAndrew Donnellan2016-07-08
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Update defconfigs to remove old symbols and comments referencing old symbols. Dropped: * AVERAGE * INET_LRO * EXT3_DEFAULTS_TO_ORDERED * EXT3_FS_XATTR * I2O * INFINIBAND_AMSO1100 * INFINIBAND_EHCA * IP1000 Replaced: * BLK_DEV_XIP -> BLK_DEV_RAM_DAX * CLK_PPC_CORENET -> CLK_QORIQ * EXT2_FS_XIP -> FS_DAX * EXT3_FS* -> EXT4_FS* Signed-off-by: Andrew Donnellan <andrew.donnellan@au1.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
* powerpc: Add MTD_BLOCK to powernv_defconfigMichael Neuling2016-07-08
| | | | | | | | This is so we can use the powernv_flash mtd driver as an block device. Signed-off-by: Michael Neuling <mikey@neuling.org> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
* powerpc/powernv: Add driver for operator panel on FSP machinesSuraj Jitindar Singh2016-06-29
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Implement new character device driver to allow access from user space to the operator panel display present on IBM Power Systems machines with FSPs. This will allow status information to be presented on the display which is visible to a user. The driver implements a character buffer which a user can read/write by accessing the device (/dev/op_panel). This buffer is then displayed on the operator panel display. Any attempt to write past the last character position will have no effect and attempts to write more characters than the size of the display will be truncated. The device may only be accessed by a single process at a time. * powerpc/powernv: Add AST graphics driver to powernv_defconfigJeremy Kerr2016-02-24
| | | | | | | | Most current OpenPOWER platforms have an AST BMC, so add graphics support via the AST DRM driver. Signed-off-by: Jeremy Kerr <jk@ozlabs.org> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
* powerpc/powernv: Add powernv firmware interface drivers to powernv_defconfigJeremy Kerr2016-02-24
| | | | | | | | | | There are a few firmware-provided interfaces for OpenPOWER platforms: the PRD infrastructure, IPMI support, and MTD access to the PNOR flash. This change adds these to powernv_defconfig Signed-off-by: Jeremy Kerr <jk@ozlabs.org> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
* powerpc/powernv: Add powernv_defconfigJeremy Kerr2016-02-24
This change adds a defconfig for the non-virtualised power platforms, based on pseries_defconfig, but without pseries, and little-endian, and no OF trampoline. Signed-off-by: Jeremy Kerr <jk@ozlabs.org> Acked-by: Joel Stanley <joel@jms.id.au> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
