* powerpc: Move 32-bit probe() machine to later in the boot processBenjamin Herrenschmidt2016-07-21
| | | | | | | | | | | This converts all the 32-bit platforms to use the expanded device-tree which is a pretty mechanical change. Unlike 64-bit, the 32-bit kernel didn't rely on platform initializations to setup the MMU since it sets it up entirely before probe_machine() so the move has comparatively less consequences though it's a bigger patch. * powerpc: make of_device_ids constUwe Kleine-König2014-09-25
| | | | | | | | | | | | | of_device_ids (i.e. compatible strings and the respective data) are not supposed to change at runtime. All functions working with of_device_ids provided by <linux/of.h> work with const of_device_ids. This allows to mark all struct of_device_id const, too. While touching these line also put the __init annotation at the right position where necessary. * powerpc: rename ppc_pci_*_flags to pci_*_flagsRob Herring2011-07-12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This renames pci flags functions and enums in preparation for creating generic version in asm-generic/pci-bridge.h. The following search and replace is done: s/ppc_pci_/pci_/ s/PPC_PCI_/PCI_/ Direct accesses to ppc_pci_flag variable are replaced with helper functions. * powerpc: Introduce ppc_pci_flags accessorsJosh Boyer2008-12-15
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently there are a number of platforms that open code access to the ppc_pci_flags global variable. However, that variable is not present if CONFIG_PCI is not set, which can lead to a build break. This introduces a number of accessor functions that are defined to be empty in the case of CONFIG_PCI being disabled. The various platform files in the kernel are updated to use these.
