Cyber-Physical Systems Course

Visiting Researcher
The UNC Real-Time Systems Group welcomes PhD student Risat Pathan of Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Risat will be here for four months, working with Prof. Sanjoy Baruah.

PhD Defense
Björn Brandenburg defended his dissertation. This fall, he will be joining the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems. Congratulations, Björn!

Visiting Researchers
We are pleased to welcome two visiting researchers. Starting February 8, Prof. Suriayati Chuprat, from the Univ. of Technology, Malaysia, will be visiting for a month. Starting March 1, Prof. Gerhard Fohler, from TU Kaiserslautern, Germany, will be visiting for a week.

New LITMUSRT Release
LITMUSRT 2011.1 has been released. Among other changes, LITMUSRT has been rebased to Linux kernel version 2.6.36 and now supports the ARM CPU architecture. More information is available at the LITMUSRT website.
