Replace the padding in nvgpu_channel_wdt_args with a timeout value in
milliseconds, and add NVGPU_IOCTL_CHANNEL_WDT_FLAG_SET_TIMEOUT to
signify the existence of this new field. When the new flag is included
in the value of wdt_status, the field is used to set a per-channel
timeout to override the per-GPU default.
Add NVGPU_IOCTL_CHANNEL_WDT_FLAG_DISABLE_DUMP to disable the long debug
dump when a timed out channel gets recovered by the watchdog. Printing
the dump to serial console takes easily several seconds. (Note that
there is NVGPU_TIMEOUT_FLAG_DISABLE_DUMP about ctxsw timeout separately
for NVGPU_IOCTL_CHANNEL_SET_TIMEOUT_EX as well.)
The behaviour of NVGPU_IOCTL_CHANNEL_WDT is changed so that either
NVGPU_IOCTL_CHANNEL_ENABLE_WDT or NVGPU_IOCTL_CHANNEL_DISABLE_WDT has to
be set. The old behaviour was that other values were silently ignored.
The usage of the global default debugfs-controlled ch_wdt_timeout_ms is
changed so that its value takes effect only for newly opened channels
instead of in realtime. Also, zero value no longer means that the
watchdog is disabled; there is a separate flag for that after all.
gk20a_fifo_recover_tsg used to ignore the value of "verbose" when no
engines were found. Correct this.

This reverts commit 0c46f8a5e112c08c172ee2c692832e1753ffbcce.
We should not support tracking of MAX/threshold value for syncpoint allocated
by user space
Hence revert this patch

Add support for user fence updates i.e. increments added by user space
in pushbuffer directly
Add a submit IOCTL flag NVGPU_SUBMIT_GPFIFO_FLAGS_USER_FENCE_UPDATE to indicate
if User has added increments in pushbuffer
If yes, number_of_increment value is received in fence.value from User
If User is adding increments in the pushbuffer then we don't need to do any job
tracking in the kernel
So fail the submit if we evaluate need_job_tracking to true and
FLAGS_USER_FENCE_UPDATE is set
User is responsible for ensuring all pre-requisites for a fast submit and to
prevent kernel job tracking
Since user space adds increments in the pushbuffer, just handle the threshold
book keeping in kernel.

Add new user API NVGPU_IOCTL_CHANNEL_GET_USER_SYNCPOINT which will expose
per-channel allocated syncpoint to user space
API will also return current value of the syncpoint
On supported platforms, this API will also return a RW semaphore address
(corresponding to syncpoint shim) to user space
Add new characteristics flag NVGPU_GPU_FLAGS_SUPPORT_USER_SYNCPOINT to indicate
support for this new API
Add new flag NVGPU_SUPPORT_USER_SYNCPOINT for use of core driver

Add new API nvgpu_nvhost_syncpt_read_maxval() which will read and return MAX

Add User space API NVGPU_AS_IOCTL_GET_SYNC_RO_MAP to get read-only syncpoint
address map in user space
We already map whole syncpoint shim to each address space with base address
being vm->syncpt_ro_map_gpu_va
This new API exposes this base GPU_VA address of syncpoint map, and unit size
of each syncpoint to user space.
User space can then calculate address of each syncpoint as
syncpoint_address = base_gpu_va + (syncpoint_id * syncpoint_unit_size)
Note that this syncpoint address is read_only, and should be only used for
inserting semaphore acquires.
Adding semaphore release with this address would result in MMU_FAULT
Define new HAL g->ops.fifo.get_sync_ro_map and set this for all GPUs supported
on Xavier SoC

Add a translation layer to convert from the NVGPU_AS_* flags to
to new set of NVGPU_VM_MAP_* and NVGPU_VM_AREA_ALLOC_* flags.
This allows the common MM code to not depend on the UAPI header
defined for Linux.
In addition to this change a couple of other small changes were
made:
1. Deprecate, print a warning, and ignore usage of the
NVGPU_AS_MAP_BUFFER_FLAGS_MAPPABLE_COMPBITS flag.
2. Move the t19x IO coherence flag from the t19x UAPI header
to the regular UAPI header.

This patch adds kernel interface for dynamic TPC-PG feature.
User-space needs to send TPC-PG args to kernel via ioctl.
Dynamic TPC-PG feature will allow every context to specify the
number of TPC's it will use to run its workload.
This way, graphics driver can power off non-required TPC's
if a particular context has light to medium workload.

Make NVGPU_AS_MAP_BUFFER_FLAGS_DIRECT_KIND_CTRL mandatory for all map
IOCTLs. We'll clean up the legacy kernel code in subsequent patches.
Remove support for NVGPU_AS_IOCTL_MAP_BUFFER. It has been superseded
by NVGPU_AS_IOCTL_MAP_BUFFER_EX.
Remove legacy definitions to nvgpu_map_buffer_args and the related
flags, and update the in-kernel map calls accordingly by switching to
the newer definitions.

Add a new ioctl NVGPU_GPU_IOCTL_SET_DETERMINISTIC_OPTS to adjust
deterministic options on a per-channel basis. Currently, the only
supported option is to relax the no-railgating requirement on open
deterministic channels. This also disallows submits on such channels,
until the railgate option is reset.

Add max_css_buffer_size to gpu characteristics. In the virtual
case, the size of the cycle stats snapshot buffer is constrained
by the size of the mempool shared between the guest OS and the
RM server, so tools need to find out what is the maximum size
allowed.
In the native case, we return 0xffffffff to indicate
that the buffer size is unbounded (subject to memory availability),
in the virtual case we return the size of the mempool.
Also collapse native init_cyclestats functions to a single version,
as each chip had identical versions of the code.

Allow userspace to control directly the PTE kind for the mappings by
supplying NVGPU_AS_MAP_BUFFER_FLAGS_DIRECT_KIND_CTRL for MAP_BUFFER_EX.
In particular, in this mode, the userspace will tell the kernel
whether the kind is compressible, and if so, what is the
incompressible fallback kind. By supplying only the compressible kind,
the userspace can require that the map kind will not be demoted to the
incompressible fallback kind in case of comptag allocation failure.
Add also a GPU characteristics flag
NVGPU_GPU_FLAGS_SUPPORT_MAP_DIRECT_KIND_CTRL to signal whether direct
kind control is supported.
Fix indentation of nvgpu_as_map_buffer_ex_args header comment.

Currently callbacks from the PM_QOS framework (for
thermal events), result in a RPC call to set GPU frequency.
Since the governor will now be responsible for setting desired
rate, the max PM_QOS callback will now cap the possible
GPU frequency w/ a new RPC call to the server. The server
is responsible for setting the ultimate frequency
based on the cap & desired rates.

In order to perform timestamps correlation for FECS
traces, we need to collect GPU / GPU timestamps
samples. In virtualization case, it is possible for
a guest to get GPU timestamps by using read_ptimer.
However, if the CPU timestamp is read on guest side,
and the GPU timestamp is read on vm-server side,
then it introduces some latency that will create an
artificial offset for GPU timestamps (~2 us in
average). For better CPU / GPU timestamps correlation,
Added a command to collect all timestamps on vm-server
side.

To make do_idle work when nvgpu is built as a module, reverse the order
of call dependencies for do_idle. Don't provide visible

providing that g instead of retrieving the plat device from device tree.
