This wraps the ALSA core jack detection functionality and provides integration with DAPM to automatically update the power state of pins based on the jack state. Since embedded platforms can have multiple detecton methods used for a single jack (eg, separate microphone and headphone detection) the report function allows specification of which bits are being updated on a given report. Driver code where pxa_request_dma() is called will most likely reference DMA registers as well, and it is really unnecessary to include pxa-regs.h just for this. Move the definitions into <mach/dma.h> and make relevant drivers include it instead of <mach/pxa-regs.h>. 2. Introduce DMAC_REGS_VIRT as the virtual address base for these DMA registers. This patch requires a counterpart in OMAP McBSP driver before to apply it. The required changes in McBSP were sent and approved in linux-omap mailing list and patch is going upstream (commit 3127f8f8595a064b3f1a1837fea2177902589ac3 from linux-omap-2.6 tree).
