There are a number of pci vendor ids that are used in multiple
drivers in the comedi subsystem. Move these ids to pci_ids.h.
This also fixes some build warnings reported by the kbuild test
robot about PCI_VENDOR_ID_AMPLICON being undeclared.

This driver is simple, uses the latest interfaces and contains few if
any controversial elements. All of its interfaces have been in place
for a long time now. Hence let's move it out of staging.

Here we have:
* RTC driver for the hid-sensor hubs. This is routed through here with
agreement of Jiri Kosina and Andrew Morton.
* Some small patches doing dead code removal and fixing some comments.
* max1363 - move to the triggered_buffer helpers (basically duplicate code
removal).
* lp8788 - parent device change from the i2c device to the intermediate mfd.
So the bulk of what we have is actually outside the IIO tree but the RTC
driver in question is dependent on some patches that directly effect IIO so
I am routing it through IIO with the agreement of the relevant maintainers
(Andrew is acting as maintainer of RTC at the moment). The majority of
HID-sensor related code is in IIO and it now crosses 3 subsystems so it
was going to be a bit awkward whatever route it took.

The stuff in hid-sensor-attributes.h is needed by every piece which
uses hid-sensor-hub and merging it into hid-sensor-hub.h makes it accessible
from outside the iio subdirectory.

All in-kernel users of class_find_device() don't really need mutable
data for match callback.
In two places (kernel/power/suspend_test.c, drivers/scsi/osd/osd_uld.c)
this patch changes match callbacks to use const search data.
The const is propagated to rtc_class_open() and power_supply_get_by_name()
parameters.
Note that there's a dev reference leak in suspend_test.c that's not
touched in this patch.

The devm_request_and_ioremap() function is very useful and helps avoid a
whole lot of boilerplate. However, one issue that keeps popping up is
its lack of a specific error code to determine which of the steps that
it performs failed. Furthermore, while the function gives an example and
suggests what error code to return on failure, a wide variety of error
codes are used throughout the tree.
In an attempt to fix these problems, this patch adds a new function that
drivers can transition to. The devm_ioremap_resource() returns a pointer
to the remapped I/O memory on success or an ERR_PTR() encoded error code
on failure. Callers can check for failure using IS_ERR() and determine
its cause by extracting the error code using PTR_ERR().
devm_request_and_ioremap() is implemented as a wrapper around the new
API and return NULL on failure as before. This ensures that backwards
compatibility is maintained until all users have been converted to the
new API, at which point the old devm_request_and_ioremap() function
should be removed.
A semantic patch is included which can be used to convert from the old
devm_request_and_ioremap() API to the new devm_ioremap_resource() API.
Some non-trivial cases may require manual intervention, though.

For simple modules that contain a single platform_driver without any
additional setup code then ends up being a block of duplicated
boilerplate. This patch adds a new macro,
module_platform_driver_probe(), which replaces the
module_init()/module_exit() registrations with template functions.
This macro use the same idea of module_platform_driver().
This macro is useful to stop the misuse of module_platform_driver() for
removing the platform_driver_probe() boilerplate.

Introduce print_hex_dump_debug() that can be dynamically controlled, similar to
pr_debug.
Also, make print_hex_dump_bytes() dynamically controlled
Implement only 'p' flag (_DPRINTK_FLAGS_PRINT) to keep it simple since hex dump prints
multiple lines and long prefix would impact readability.
To provide line/file etc. information, use pr_debug or similar
before/after print_hex_dump_debug()

[Problem]
efi_pstore creates sysfs entries, which enable users to access to NVRAM,
in a write callback. If a kernel panic happens in an interrupt context,
it may fail because it could sleep due to dynamic memory allocations during
creating sysfs entries.
[Patch Description]
This patch removes sysfs operations from a write callback by introducing
a workqueue updating sysfs entries which is scheduled after the write
callback is called.
Also, the workqueue is kicked in a just oops case.
A system will go down in other cases such as panic, clean shutdown and emergency
restart. And we don't need to create sysfs entries because there is no chance for
users to access to them.
efi_pstore will be robust against a kernel panic in an interrupt context with this patch.

When pstore is in panic and emergency-restart paths, it may be blocked
in those paths because it simply takes spin_lock.
This is an example scenario which pstore may hang up in a panic path:
- cpuA grabs psinfo->buf_lock
- cpuB panics and calls smp_send_stop
- smp_send_stop sends IRQ to cpuA
- after 1 second, cpuB gives up on cpuA and sends an NMI instead
- cpuA is now in an NMI handler while still holding buf_lock
- cpuB is deadlocked
This case may happen if a firmware has a bug and
cpuA is stuck talking with it more than one second.
Also, this is a similar scenario in an emergency-restart path:
- cpuA grabs psinfo->buf_lock and stucks in a firmware
- cpuB kicks emergency-restart via either sysrq-b or hangcheck timer.
And then, cpuB is deadlocked by taking psinfo->buf_lock again.
[Solution]
This patch avoids the deadlocking issues in both panic and emergency_restart
paths by introducing a function, is_non_blocking_path(), to check if a cpu
can be blocked in current path.
With this patch, pstore is not blocked even if another cpu has
taken a spin_lock, in those paths by changing from spin_lock_irqsave
to spin_trylock_irqsave.
In addition, according to a comment of emergency_restart() in kernel/sys.c,
spin_lock shouldn't be taken in an emergency_restart path to avoid
deadlock. This patch fits the comment below.

This patch replaces the global lock to one lock per subsystem.
The per-subsystem lock avoids that processes operating
with different subsystems are synchronized.

- A few pn533 fixes on top of Waldemar refactorization of the driver, one of
them fixes target mode.
- A new driver for Inside Secure microread chipset. It supports two
physical layers: i2c and MEI. The MEI one depends on a patchset that's
been sent to Greg Kroah-Hartman for inclusion into the 3.9 kernel [1]. The
dependency is a KConfig one which means this code is not buildable as long
as the MEI API is not usptream."
"This 3rd NFC pull request for 3.9 contains a fix for the microread MEI
physical layer support, as the MEI bus API changed.
From the MEI code, we now pass the MEI id back to the driver probe routine,
and we also pass a name and a MEI id table through the mei_bus_driver

mei_bus_client to mei_device in order to be closer to the driver model

For the ath6kl bits, Kalle says:
"There's not anything special here, most of the patches are just code
cleanup. The only functional changes are using the beacon interval from user
space and fixing a crash which happens when inserting and removing the
module in a loop."
Also, I pulled the wireless tree in order to resolve some pending
merge issues. On top of that, there is a bunch of work on brcmfmac
that leads up to P2P support. Also, mwifiex, rtlwifi, and a variety
of other drivers see some basic cleanups and minor enhancements.

Define the action frame format, the VHT category
and its action types and the field format and EID
for operating mode notifications. The frame may
be used outside of VHT context as well, so don't
include "VHT" in the names.

The platform data is used not only by wlcore-based drivers, but also
by wl1251. Move it up in the directory hierarchy to reflect this.
Additionally, make it truly optional. At the moment, disabling
platform data while wl1251_sdio or wlcore_sdio are enabled doesn't
work, but it will be necessary when device tree support is
implemented.

We can't pass pointers from the platform data to the modules, because
with DT it cannot be done. Those pointers are not set by the board
files anyway. It's the bus modules that set them, so they can be
safely removed from the platform data without changing any board
files.
Create a new structure that the bus modules pass to wlcore. This
structure contains the if_ops pointers and a pointer to the actual
platform data.

Add routines to
- maintain a PS mode for each peer and a non-peer PS mode
- indicate own PS mode in transmitted frames
- track neighbor STAs power modes
- buffer frames when neighbors are in PS mode
- add TIM and Awake Window IE to beacons
- release frames in Mesh Peer Service Periods
Add local_pm to sta_info to represent the link-specific power
mode at this station towards the remote station. When a peer
link is established, use the default power mode stored in mesh
config. Update the PS status if the peering status of a neighbor
changes.
Maintain a mesh power mode for non-peer mesh STAs. Set the
non-peer power mode to active mode during peering. Authenticated
mesh peering is currently not working when either node is
configured to be in power save mode.
Indicate the current power mode in transmitted frames. Use QoS
Nulls to indicate mesh power mode transitions.
For performance reasons, calls to the function setting the frame
flags are placed in HWMP routing routines, as there the STA
pointer is already available.
Add peer_pm to sta_info to represent the peer's link-specific
power mode towards the local station. Add nonpeer_pm to
represent the peer's power mode towards all non-peer stations.
Track power modes based on received frames.
Add the ps_data structure to ieee80211_if_mesh (for TIM map, PS
neighbor counter and group-addressed frame buffer).
Set WLAN_STA_PS flag for STA in PS mode to use the unicast frame
buffering routines in the tx path. Update num_sta_ps to buffer
and release group-addressed frames after DTIM beacons.
Announce the awake window duration in beacons if in light or
deep sleep mode towards any peer or non-peer. Create a TIM IE
similarly to AP mode and add it to mesh beacons. Parse received
Awake Window IEs and check TIM IEs for buffered frames.
Release frames towards peers in mesh Peer Service Periods. Use
the corresponding trigger frames and monitor the MPSP status.
Append a QoS Null as trigger frame if neccessary to properly end
the MPSP. Currently, in HT channels MPSPs behave imperfectly and
show large delay spikes and frame losses.
