* | [PATCH] catch valid mem range at onlining memory | KAMEZAWA Hiroyuki | 2006-06-27 |
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch allows hot-add memory which is not aligned to section. Now, hot-added memory has to be aligned to section size. Considering big section sized archs, this is not useful. When hot-added memory is registerd as iomem resoruce by iomem resource patch, we can make use of that information to detect valid memory range. Note: With this, not-aligned memory can be registerd. To allow hot-add memory with holes, we have to do more work around add_memory(). (It doesn't allows add memory to already existing mem section.) * | [PATCH] __deprecated_for_modules: insert_resource | Adrian Bunk | 2005-11-07 |

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip! |
