* net: cleanup include/linuxEric Dumazet2009-11-04
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This cleanup patch puts struct/union/enum opening braces, in first line to ease grep games. struct something { becomes : struct something { Signed-off-by: Eric Dumazet <eric.dumazet@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* make exported headers use strict posix typesArnd Bergmann2009-03-26
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | A number of standard posix types are used in exported headers, which is not allowed if __STRICT_KERNEL_NAMES is defined. In order to get rid of the non-__STRICT_KERNEL_NAMES part and to make sane headers the default, we have to change them all to safe types. There are also still some leftovers in reiserfs_fs.h, elfcore.h and coda.h, but these files have not compiled in user space for a long time. This leaves out the various integer types ({u_,u,}int{8,16,32,64}_t), which we take care of separately. * [PPPOL2TP]: Fix endianness annotations.Al Viro2007-08-26
| | | | | | | | | {s,d}_{session,tunnel} in pppol2tp_addr are actually host-endian everywhere. We might switch them to net-endian, of course, but that structure is exposed to userland via getname... * [L2TP]: Changes to existing ppp and socket kernel headers for L2TPJames Chapman2007-07-11
Add struct sockaddr_pppol2tp to carry L2TP-specific address information for the PPPoX (PPPoL2TP) socket. Unfortunately we can't use the union inside struct sockaddr_pppox because the L2TP-specific data is larger than the current size of the union and we must preserve the size of struct sockaddr_pppox for binary compatibility. Also add a PPPIOCGL2TPSTATS ioctl to allow userspace to obtain L2TP counters and state from the kernel. Add new if_pppol2tp.h header.
