* i386/x86_64: move headers to include/asm-x86Thomas Gleixner2007-10-11
| | | | | | | | Move the headers to include/asm-x86 and fixup the header install make rules Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>
* ACPI: Kconfig: remove CONFIG_ACPI_SLEEP from sourceLen Brown2007-07-25
| | | | | | | | | | As it was a synonym for (CONFIG_ACPI && CONFIG_X86), the ifdefs for it were more clutter than they were worth. For ia64, just add a few stubs in anticipation of future S3 or S4 support. Signed-off-by: Len Brown <len.brown@intel.com>

* [PATCH] x86-64: Add EFER to the register set saved by save_processor_stateVivek Goyal2007-05-02
| | | | | | | | | | EFER varies like %cr4 depending on the cpu capabilities, and which cpu capabilities we want to make use of. So save/restore it make certain we have the same EFER value when we are done. Signed-off-by: Eric W. * [PATCH] x86_64: eliminate set_debug()Jan Beulich2006-03-25
| | | | | | | | | | For consistency and to have only a single place of definition, replace set_debug() uses with set_debugreg(), and eliminate the definition of thj former. * [PATCH] swsusp: clean assembly partsPavel Machek2005-06-25
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch fixes register saving so that each register is only saved once, and adds missing saving of %cr8 on x86-64. Some reordering so that save/restore is more logical/safer (segment registers should be restored after gdt). Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
