* [MIPS] Fix missing prototypes in asm/fpu.hDmitri Vorobiev2008-07-20
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | While building the Malta defconfig, sparse spat the following warnings: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> arch/mips/math-emu/kernel_linkage.c:31:6: warning: symbol 'fpu_emulator_init_fpu' was not declared. Should it be static? arch/mips/math-emu/kernel_linkage.c:54:5: warning: symbol 'fpu_emulator_save_context' was not declared. Should it be static? arch/mips/math-emu/kernel_linkage.c:68:5: warning: symbol 'fpu_emulator_restore_context' was not declared. Should it be static? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This patch fixes these errors by adding the proper prototypes to the include/asm-mips/fpu.h header, and actually using this header in the sparse-spotted source file. Build-tested with Malta defconfig. Signed-off-by: Dmitri Vorobiev <dmitri.vorobiev@movial.fi> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
* remove asm/bitops.h includesJiri Slaby2007-10-19
| | | | | | | | | | | | | remove asm/bitops.h includes including asm/bitops directly may cause compile errors. don't include it and include linux/bitops instead. next patch will deny including asm header directly. * [MIPS] FPU hazard handlingChris Dearman2007-05-11

* [MIPS] Retry {save,restore}_fp_context if failed in atomic context.Atsushi Nemoto2007-04-20
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The save_fp_context()/restore_fp_context() might sleep on accessing user stack and therefore might lose FPU ownership in middle of them. If these function failed due to "in_atomic" test in do_page_fault, touch the sigcontext area in non-atomic context and retry these save/restore operation. This is a replacement of a (broken) fix which was titled "Allow CpU exception in kernel partially". * [MIPS] Disallow CpU exception in kernel again.Atsushi Nemoto2007-04-20
| | | | | | | | | The commit 4d40bff7110e9e1a97ff8c01bdd6350e9867cc10 ("Allow CpU exception in kernel partially") was broken. The commit was to fix theoretical problem but broke usual case. Revert it for now. Signed-off-by: Atsushi Nemoto <anemo@mba.ocn.ne.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>

|\ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | * git://git.infradead.org/hdrcleanup-2.6: (63 commits) [S390] __FD_foo definitions. Switch to __s32 types in joystick.h instead of C99 types for consistency. Add <sys/types.h> to headers included for userspace in <linux/input.h> Move inclusion of <linux/compat.h> out of user scope in asm-x86_64/mtrr.h Remove struct fddi_statistics from user view in <linux/if_fddi.h> Move user-visible parts of drivers/s390/crypto/z90crypt.h to include/asm-s390 Revert include/media changes: Mauro says those ioctls are only used in-kernel(!) Include <linux/types.h> and use __uXX types in <linux/cramfs_fs.h> Use __uXX types in <linux/i2o_dev.h>, include <linux/ioctl.h> too Remove private struct dx_hash_info from public view in <linux/ext3_fs.h> Include <linux/types.h> and use __uXX types in <linux/affs_hardblocks.h> Use __uXX types in <linux/divert.h> for struct divert_blk et al. Use __u32 for elf_addr_t in <asm-powerpc/elf.h>, not u32. It's user-visible. Remove PPP_FCS from user view in <linux/ppp_defs.h>, remove __P mess entirely Use __uXX types in user-visible structures in <linux/nbd.h> Don't use 'u32' in user-visible struct ip_conntrack_old_tuple. Use __uXX types for S390 DASD volume label definitions which are user-visible S390 BIODASDREADCMB ioctl should use __u64 not u64 type. Remove unneeded inclusion of <linux/time.h> from <linux/ufs_fs.h> Fix private integer types used in V4L2 ioctls. ... Manually resolve conflict in include/linux/mtd/physmap.h

* | [MIPS] Unify mips_fpu_soft_struct and mips_fpu_hard_structs.Atsushi Nemoto2006-06-19
|/ | | | | | | | | The struct mips_fpu_soft_struct and mips_fpu_hard_struct are completely same now and the kernel fpu emulator assumes that. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
