* [PATCH] remove remaining errno and __KERNEL_SYSCALLS__ referencesArnd Bergmann2006-10-02
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The last in-kernel user of errno is gone, so we should remove the definition and everything referring to it. This also removes the now-unused lib/execve.c file that was introduced earlier. Also remove every trace of __KERNEL_SYSCALLS__ that still remained in the kernel. * Clean up exported headers on CRISDavid Woodhouse2006-09-21
| | | | | | | This fixes most of the issues with exported headers on CRIS, although we do still need to deal with the asm/arch symlink. Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>
* Remove unneeded _syscallX macros from user view in asm-*/unistd.hDavid Woodhouse2006-04-28
| | | | | | | | These aren't needed by glibc or klibc, and they're broken in some cases anyway. The uClibc folks are apparently switching over to stop using them too (now that we agreed that they should be dropped, at least). Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>
* [PATCH] sys_kexec_load() naming fixupsAndrew Morton2006-04-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | __NR_sys_kexec_load should be __NR_kexec_load. Mainly affects users of the _syscallN() macros, and glibc is already checking for __NR_kexec_load. | | | | | | | | | "extern inline" doesn't make much sense. Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@stusta.de> Acked-by: Mikael Starvik <starvik@axis.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
* [PATCH] unify sys_ptrace prototypeChristoph Hellwig2005-10-30
| | | | | | | | | | Make sure we always return, as all syscalls should. Also move the common prototype to <linux/syscalls.h> Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Miklos Szeredi <miklos@szeredi.hu> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
