| * Blackfin arch: revise anomaly handling by basing things on the compiler not ↵Mike Frysinger2007-07-24
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | the kconfig defines revise anomaly handling by basing things on the compiler not the kconfig defines, so the header is stable and usable outside of the kernel. This also allows us to move some code from preprocessing to compiling (gcc culls dead code) which should help with code quality (readability, catch minor bugs, etc...). * | [MTD] [NAND] Blackfin on-chip NAND Flash Controller driverBryan Wu2007-10-13
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is the driver for latest Blackfin on-chip nand flash controller - use nand_chip and mtd_info common nand driver interface - provide both PIO and dma operation - compiled with ezkit bf548 configuration - use hardware 1-bit ECC - tested with YAFFS2 and can mount YAFFS2 filesystem as rootfs ChangeLog from try#1 - use hweight32() instead of count_bits() - replace bf54x with bf5xx and BF54X with BF5XX - compare against plat->page_size in 2 cases when enable hardware ECC ChangeLog from try#2 - passed nand_test suites - use cpu_relax() instead of busy wait loop - some coding style issue pointed out by Andrew Signed-off-by: Bryan Wu <bryan.wu@analog.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>

* Blackfin arch: initial supporting for BF548-EZKITRoy Huang2007-07-12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The ADSP-BF54x was specifically designed to meet the needs of convergent multimedia applications where system performance and cost are essential ingredients. The integration of multimedia, human interface, and connectivity peripherals combined with increased system bandwidth and on-chip memory provides customers a platform to design the most demanding applications. Since now, ADSP-BF54x will be supported in the Linux kernel and bunch of related drivers such as USB OTG, ATAPI, NAND flash controller, LCD framebuffer, sound, touch screen will be submitted later. Please enjoy the show. Signed-off-by: Roy Huang <roy.huang@analog.com> Signed-off-by: Bryan Wu <bryan.wu@analog.com>

* Blackfin arch: update blackfin header files to latest one in VDSP.Bryan Wu2007-05-21
a) add new processor BF52x/BF54x header files b) update blackfin BF533/BF537/BF561 header files to latest one in VDSP. c) scrub watchdog/rtc masks from headers as we dont need/want them (too generic and the drivers dont use them) Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <michael.frysinger@analog.com> Signed-off-by: Roy Huang <roy.huang@analog.com> Signed-off-by: Sonic Zhang <sonic.zhang@analog.com> Signed-off-by: Bryan Wu <bryan.wu@analog.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
