* ext3: copy i_flags to inode flags on writeJan Kara2007-05-08
| | | | | | | | | | Propagate flags such as S_APPEND, S_IMMUTABLE, etc. from i_flags into ext2-specific i_flags. Hence, when someone sets these flags via a different interface than ioctl, they are stored correctly. | | | | | | | | | Change all the uses of f_{dentry,vfsmnt} to f_path.{dentry,mnt} in the ext2 filesystem. Signed-off-by: Josef "Jeff" Sipek <jsipek@cs.sunysb.edu> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
* [PATCH] protect ext2 ioctl modifying append_only immutable etc with i_mutexAndrew Morton2006-12-07
| | | | | | | | | | | Port commit a090d9132c1e53e3517111123680c15afb25c0a4 into ext2: All modifications of ->i_flags in inodes that might be visible to somebody else must be under ->i_mutex. That patch fixes ext2 ioctl() setting S_APPEND. Cc: Al Viro <viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
