* cifs: send IPv6 addr in upcall with colon delimitersJeff Layton2009-09-01
| | | | | | | | Make it easier on the upcall program by adding ':' delimiters between each group of hex digits. Signed-off-by: Jeff Layton <jlayton@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Steve French <sfrench@us.ibm.com>
* cifs: add pid of initiating process to spnego upcall infoJeff Layton2009-07-09
| | | | | | | | | | cifs: add pid of initiating process to spnego upcall info This will allow the upcall to poke in /proc/<pid>/environ and get the value of the $KRB5CCNAME env var for the process. Signed-off-by: Jeff Layton <jlayton@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Steve French <sfrench@us.ibm.com>
* cifs: fix IPv6 address length checkJeff Layton2009-06-02
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | For IPv6 the userspace mount helper sends an address in the "ip=" option. This check fails if the length is > 35 characters. I have no idea where the magic 35 character limit came from, but it's clearly not enough for IPv6. Fix it by making it use the INET6_ADDRSTRLEN #define. While we're at it, use the same #define for the address length in SPNEGO upcalls. Reported-by: Charles R. Anderson <cra@wpi.edu> Signed-off-by: Jeff Layton <jlayton@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Steve French <sfrench@us.ibm.com>
* cifs: no need to use rcu_assign_pointer on immutable keysJeff Layton2009-04-16
| | | | | | | | | | | cifs: no need to use rcu_assign_pointer on immutable keys Neither keytype in use by CIFS has an "update" method. This means that the keys are immutable once instantiated. We don't need to use RCU to set the payload data pointers. Signed-off-by: Jeff Layton <jlayton@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Steve French <sfrench@us.ibm.com>

| * [CIFS] clean up server protocol handlingSteve French2008-11-13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We're currently declaring both a sockaddr_in and sockaddr6_in on the stack, but we really only need storage for one of them. Declare a sockaddr struct and cast it to the proper type. Also, eliminate the protocolType field in the TCP_Server_Info struct. It's redundant since we have a sa_family field in the sockaddr anyway. We may need to revisit this if SCTP is ever implemented, but for now this will simplify the code. CIFS over IPv6 also has a number of problems currently. This fixes all of them that I found. Eventually, it would be nice to move more of the code to be protocol independent, but this is a start. Signed-off-by: Jeff Layton <jlayton@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Steve French <sfrench@us.ibm.com>
* | fs: replace NIPQUAD()Harvey Harrison2008-10-31
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Using NIPQUAD() with NIPQUAD_FMT, %d.%d.%d.%d or %u.%u.%u.%u can be replaced with %pI4 Signed-off-by: Harvey Harrison <harvey.harrison@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* | net: replace %#p6 format specifier with %pi6Harvey Harrison2008-10-29
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | gcc warns when using the # modifier with the %p format specifier, so we can't use this to omit the colons when needed, introduces %pi6 instead. Signed-off-by: Harvey Harrison <harvey.harrison@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* | net: replace all current users of NIP6_SEQFMT with %#p6Harvey Harrison2008-10-28

* [CIFS] distinguish between Kerberos and MSKerberos in upcallSteve French2008-08-19
| | | | | | | | | | | | Properly handle MSKRB5 by passing sec=mskrb5 to the upcall so that the spengo blob can be generated appropriately. Also, make decode_negTokenInit prefer whichever mechanism is first in the list. Needed for some NetApp servers, and possibly some older versions of Windows which treat the two KRB5 mechanisms differently. * [CIFS] properly account for new user= field in SPNEGO upcall string allocationJeff Layton2008-08-01
| | | | | | | | | | | ...it doesn't look like it's being accounted for at the moment. Also try to reorganize the calculation to make it a little more evident what each piece means. This should probably go to the stable series as well... Signed-off-by: Jeff Layton <jlayton@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Steve French <sfrench@us.ibm.com>
