Pull preparatory patches for user API disintegration from David Howells:
"The patches herein prepare for the extraction of the Userspace API
bits from the various header files named in the Kbuild files.
New subdirectories are created under either include/uapi/ or
arch/x/include/uapi/ that correspond to the subdirectory containing
that file under include/ or arch/x/include/.
The new subdirs under the uapi/ directory are populated with Kbuild
files that mostly do nothing at this time. Further patches will
disintegrate the headers in each original directory and fill in the
Kbuild files as they do it.
These patches also:
(1) fix up #inclusions of "foo.h" rather than <foo.h>.
(2) Remove some redundant #includes from the DRM code.
(3) Make the kernel build infrastructure handle Kbuild files both in
the old places and the new UAPI place that both specify headers
to be exported.
(4) Fix some kernel tools that #include kernel headers during their
build.
I have compile tested this with allyesconfig against x86_64,
allmodconfig against i386 and a scattering of additional defconfigs of
other arches. Prepared for main script

Remove redundant DRM UAPI header #inclusions from drivers/gpu/.
Remove redundant #inclusions of core DRM UAPI headers (drm.h, drm_mode.h and
drm_sarea.h). They are now #included via drmP.h and drm_crtc.h via a preceding
patch.
Without this patch and the patch to make include the UAPI headers from the core
headers, after the UAPI split, the DRM C sources cannot find these UAPI headers
because the DRM code relies on specific -I flags to make #include "..." work
on headers in include/drm/ - but that does not work after the UAPI split without
adding more -I flags.

Pull devicetree updates from Rob Herring:
- Import of latest upstream device tree compiler (dtc)
- New function of_get_child_by_name
- Support for #size-cells of 0 and #addr-cells of >2
- Couple of DT binding documentation updates
Fix up trivial conflicts due to of_get_child_by_name() having been added
next to the new of_get_next_available_child().

This patch introduces of_get_child_by_name function to get a child node
by its name in a given parent node.
Without this patch each driver code has to iterate the parent and do
a string compare, However having of_get_child_by_name libary function would
avoid code duplication, errors and is more convenient.

Add support for specifying a generic "wakeup-source" property on i2c
clients, which will set the I2C_CLIENT_WAKE flag, thus configuring the
device to wake the system from suspend (via IRQ).
This obviously doesn't make sense on devices lacking IRQ, but since we
still allow that in the i2c_board_info case, I don't see a reason to
restrict it here.
Note: Since the generic i2c bindings aren't documented in the kernel,
I didn't find a good place to add documentation for this binding
extension. I still think it makes sense to have a generic property
instead of having each device do its own binding for the same.

When a bus specifies #address-cells > 2, of_bus_default_map() now
assumes that the mapping isn't for a physical address but rather an
identifier that needs to match exactly.
This is required by bindings that use multiple cells to translate a
resource to the parent bus (device index, type, ...).

It's quite legitimate for a DT node to specify #size-cells=0. One example
is a node that's used to collect a number of non-memory-mapped devices.
In that scenario, there may be multiple child nodes with the same name
(type) thus necessitating the use of unit addresses in node names, and
reg properties:
/ {
regulators {
compatible = "simple-bus";
#address-cells = <1>;
#size-cells = <0>;
regulator@0 {
compatible = "regulator-fixed";
reg = <0>;
...
};
regulator@1 {
compatible = "regulator-fixed";
reg = <1>;
...
};
...
};
};
However, #size-cells=0 prevents translation of reg property values into
the parent node's address space. In turn, this triggers the kernel to
emit error messages during boot, such as:
prom_parse: Bad cell count for /regulators/regulator@0
To prevent printing these error messages for legitimate DT content, a
number of changes are made:
1) of_get_address()/of_get_pci_address() are modified only to validate
the value of #address-cells, and not #size-cells.
2) of_can_translate_address() is added to indicate whether address
translation is possible.
3) of_device_make_bus_id() is modified to name devices based on the
translated address only where possible, and otherwise fall back to
using the (first cell of the) raw untranslated address.
4) of_device_alloc() is modified to create memory resources for a device
only if the address can be translated into the CPU's address space.

When we do an FLR, or D0->D3_hot we may lose the BARs as the
device has turned itself off (and on). This means the device cannot
function unless the pci_restore_state is called - which it is
when the PCI device is unbound from the Xen PCI backend driver.
For PV guests it ends up calling pci_enable_device / pci_enable_msi[x]
which does the proper steps
That however is not happening if a HVM guest is run as QEMU
deals with PCI configuration space. QEMU also requires that the
device be "parked" under the ownership of a pci-stub driver to
guarantee that the PCI device is not being used. Hence we
follow the same incantation as pci_reset_function does - by
doing an FLR, then restoring the PCI configuration space.
The result of this patch is that when you run lspci, you get
now this:
- Region 0: [virtual] Memory at fe8c0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128K]
- Region 1: [virtual] Memory at fe800000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K]
+ Region 0: Memory at fe8c0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128K]
+ Region 1: Memory at fe800000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K]
Region 2: I/O ports at c000 [size=32]
- Region 3: [virtual] Memory at fe8e0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
+ Region 3: Memory at fe8e0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
The [virtual] means that lspci read those entries from SysFS but when
it read them from the device it got a different value (0xfffffff).

As the function calls pcistub_device_get() before returning non-NULL,
its callers need to take care of calling pcistub_device_put() on
(mostly, but not exclusively) error paths.
Otoh, the function already guarantees that the 'dev' member is non-NULL
upon successful return, so callers do not need to check for this a
second time.

Note: We cannot depend on after_bootmem to automatically
determine whether this is early or not. This is because
when PCI IOMMUs are initialized it is after after_bootmem but
before a lot of "other" subsystems are initialized.

Since Xen-4.2, hvm domains may have portions of their memory paged out. When a
foreign domain (such as dom0) attempts to map these frames, the map will
initially fail. The hypervisor returns a suitable errno, and kicks an
asynchronous page-in operation carried out by a helper. The foreign domain is
expected to retry the mapping operation until it eventually succeeds. The
foreign domain is not put to sleep because itself could be the one running the
pager assist (typical scenario for dom0).
This patch adds support for this mechanism for backend drivers using grant
mapping and copying operations. Specifically, this covers the blkback and
gntdev drivers (which map foreign grants), and the netback driver (which copies
foreign grants).
* Add a retry method for grants that fail with GNTST_eagain (i.e. because the
target foreign frame is paged out).
* Insert hooks with appropriate wrappers in the aforementioned drivers.
The retry loop is only invoked if the grant operation status is GNTST_eagain.
It guarantees to leave a new status code different from GNTST_eagain. Any other
status code results in identical code execution as before.
The retry loop performs 256 attempts with increasing time intervals through a
32 second period. It uses msleep to yield while waiting for the next retry.
V2 after feedback from David Vrabel:
* Explicit MAX_DELAY instead of wrap-around delay into zero
* Abstract GNTST_eagain check into core grant table code for netback module.
V3 after feedback from Ian Campbell:
* Add placeholder in array of grant table error descriptions for unrelated
error code we jump over.
* Eliminate single map and retry macro in favor of a generic batch flavor.
* Some renaming.
* Bury most implementation in grant_table.c, cleaner interface.
V4 rebased on top of sync of Xen grant table interface headers.

Particularly for hiding sets of SR-IOV devices, specifying them all
individually is rather cumbersome. Therefore, allow function and slot
numbers to be replaced by a wildcard character ('*').
Unfortunately this gets complicated by the in-kernel sscanf()
implementation not being really standard conformant - matching of
plain text tails cannot be checked by the caller (a patch to overcome
this will be sent shortly, and a follow-up patch for simplifying the
code is planned to be sent when that fixed went upstream).

This patch removes the "return -ENOSYS" for auto_translated_physmap
guests from privcmd_mmap, thus it allows ARM guests to issue privcmd
mmap calls. However privcmd mmap calls are still going to fail for HVM

implementation is currently PV only.

When unmask_evtchn is called, if we already have an event pending, we
just set evtchn_pending_sel waiting for local_irq_enable to be called.
That is because PV guests set the irq_enable pvops to
xen_irq_enable_direct in xen_setup_vcpu_info_placement:
xen_irq_enable_direct is implemented in assembly in
arch/x86/xen/xen-asm.S and call xen_force_evtchn_callback if
XEN_vcpu_info_pending is set.
However HVM guests (and ARM guests) do not change or do not have the
irq_enable pvop, so evtchn_unmask cannot work properly for them.
Considering that having the pending_irq bit set when unmask_evtchn is
called is not very common, and it is simpler to keep the
native_irq_enable implementation for HVM guests (and ARM guests), the
best thing to do is just use the EVTCHNOP_unmask hypercall (Xen
re-injects pending events in response).

In drivers/char/tpm/tpm_acpi.c::read_log() we call
acpi_os_map_memory(). That call may fail for a number of reasons
(invalid address, out of memory etc). If the call fails it returns
NULL and we just pass that to memcpy() unconditionally, which will go
bad when it tries to dereference the pointer.
Unfortunately we just get NULL back, so we can't really tell the user
exactely what went wrong, but we can at least avoid crashing and
return an error (-EIO seemed more generic and more suitable here than
-ENOMEM or something else, so I picked that).

This patch adds a new device driver to support IBM virtual TPM
(vTPM) for PPC64. IBM vTPM is supported through the adjunct
partition with firmware release 740 or higher. With vTPM
support, each lpar is able to have its own vTPM without the
physical TPM hardware.
This driver provides TPM functionalities by communicating with
the vTPM adjunct partition through Hypervisor calls (Hcalls)

Break ACPI-specific pieces of the event log handling into their own file
and create tpm_eventlog.[ch] to store common event log handling code.
This will be required to integrate future event log sources on platforms
without ACPI tables.

This patch adds a driver to support Infineon's SLB 9635 TT 1.2 Soft I2C TPMs
which follow the TGC TIS 1.2 TPM specification[1] and Infineon's I2C Protocol
Stack Specification 0.20.
The I2C Protocol Stack Specification is a simple adaption of the LPC TIS
Protocol to the I2C Bus.
The I2C TPMs can be used when LPC Bus is not available (i.e. non x86
architectures like ARM).
The driver is based on the tpm_tis.c driver by Leendert van Dorn and Kyleen
Hall and has quite similar functionality.
Tested on Nvidia ARM Tegra2 Development Platform and Beagleboard (ARM OMAP)
Tested with the Trousers[2] TSS API Testsuite v 0.3 [3]
Compile-tested on x86 (32/64-bit)
Updates since version 2.1.4:
- included "Lock the I2C adapter for a sequence of requests", by Bryan Freed
- use __i2c_transfer instead of own implementation of unlocked i2c_transfer
- use struct dev_pm_ops for power management via SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS
Updates since version 2.1.3:
- use proper probing mechanism
* either add the tpm using I2C_BOARD_INFO to your board file or probe it
* during runtime e.g on BeagleBoard using :
* "echo tpm_i2c_infineon 0x20 > /sys/bus/i2c/devices/i2c-2/new_device"
- fix possible endless loop if hardware misbehaves
- improved return codes
- consistent spelling i2c/tpm -> I2C/TPM
- remove hardcoded sleep values and msleep usage
- removed debug statements
- added check for I2C functionality
- renaming to tpm_i2c_infineon
Updates since version 2.1.2:
- added sysfs entries for duration and timeouts
- updated to new tpm_do_selftest
Updates since version 2.1.0:
- improved error handling
- implemented workarounds needed by the tpm
- fixed typos

Pull UBI changes from Artem Bityutskiy:
"The main change is the way we reserve eraseblocks for bad blocks
handling. We used to reserve 2% of the partition, but now we are more
aggressive and we reserve 2% of the entire chip, which is what
actually manufacturers specify in data sheets. We introduced an
option to users to override the default, though.
There are a couple of fixes as well, and a number of cleanups."
