Now, the device remains powered on until it is disconnected, just like the windows driver. It seems that the bluebird firmware is unable to successfully handle tuning after a powered down state. This patch fixes all of the FusionHDTV Bluebird USB2 devices. The Medion MD95700 will still behave as before, since it was unaffected by this bug. The values written in the SYSSymbolRate registers are calculated with better precision. ) - fixed the cx24123_get_fec() function. Its debatable whether this mutex lock is actually needed, but I'm unwilling to just remove it in case something does depend on it. This causes the acpi-ca code to assume that the output buffer is larger than it actually is, and overwrite memory when copying acpi return buffers into this caller provided buffer. In some cases this can cause kernel oops if the memory that is overwritten is a pointer. This patch will change these calls to use a dynamically allocated output buffer, thus allowing the acpi-ca code to decide how much space is needed.
