Pull Xtensa patchset from Chris Zankel:
"The Xtensa tree has been broken for some time now, and this patchset
brings it back to life. It has been part of the linux-next tree for
some time.
Most changes are inside the xtensa subdirectory; the other changes
mostly add another rule to already existing #ifdefs to exclude Xtensa,
where required. The only 'common' change is to add two more sections
('.xt.prop' and '.xt.lit') to the white list in modpost."

A fair chunk of them are platform updates to the Cavium Octeon SOC

The "IUDMA" engine used by bcm63xx_enet is also used by other blocks,
such as the USB 2.0 device. Move the definitions into a common file so
that they do not need to be duplicated in each driver.

The driver was using a 16 bit field for storing the shadow value of the shift
register cascade. This resulted in only the first 2 shift registeres receiving
the correct data. The third shift register would always receive 0x00.
Fix this by using a 32bit field for the shadow value.

Implement support for pinctrl on lantiq/xway socs. The IO core found on these
socs has the registers for pinctrl, pinconf and gpio mixed up in the same
register range. As the gpio_chip handling is only a few lines, the driver also
implements the gpio functionality. This obseletes the old gpio driver that was
located in the arch/ folder.

The original hardware only supported 10M and 100M. Later versions
added 1G support. Here we update the driver to make use of this.
Also minor logic clean-ups for testing PHY registration error codes
and TX complete high water marks.

Pull sound updates from Takashi Iwai:
"This contains pretty many small commits covering fairly large range of
files in sound/ directory. Partly because of additional API support
and partly because of constantly developed ASoC and ARM stuff.
Some highlights:
- Introduced the helper function and documentation for exposing the
channel map via control API, as discussed in Plumbers; most of PCI
drivers are covered, will follow more drivers later
- Most of drivers have been replaced with the new PM callbacks (if
the bus is supported)
- HD-audio controller got the support of runtime PM and the support
of D3 clock-stop. Also changing the power_save option in sysfs
kicks off immediately to enable / disable the power-save mode.
- Another significant code change in HD-audio is the rewrite of
firmware loading code. Other than that, most of changes in
HD-audio are continued cleanups and standardization for the generic
auto parser and bug fixes (HBR, device-specific fixups), in
addition to the support of channel-map API.
- Addition of ASoC bindings for the compressed API, used by the
mid-x86 drivers.

- Conversion of OMAP to dmaengine.
- New machine driver for Wolfson Microelectronics Bells.
- New CODEC driver for Wolfson Microelectronics WM0010.

Add support when the kernel has been booted with DT blob. In this case the
pdata is NULL, we need to reach up to the core node and check if the codec

Support for loading the twl4030 audio module via devicetree.
Sub devices for codec and vibra will be created as mfd devices once the
core MFD driver is loaded when the kernel is booted with a DT blob.

twl-core has API to get the boot time configured HFCLK rate which has the
same rate as the audio MCLK.

CFG_BOOT register's HFCLK_FREQ field hold information about the used HFCLK
frequency.
Add possibility for users to get the configured rate based on this
register.
This register was configured during boot, without it the chip would not
operate correctly, so we can trust on this information.

When requested (DMA_PREP_INTERRUPT is cleared in flags) disable all DMA
interrupts for the channel. In this mode user space does not expect
periodic reports from kernel about the progress of the audio stream.
PulseAudio for example support this type of mode.

Change the parameter list of device_prep_dma_cyclic() so the DMA drivers
can receive the flags coming from clients.
This feature can be used during audio operation to disable all audio
related interrupts when the DMA_PREP_INTERRUPT is cleared from the flags.

The audio stack used omap_stop_dma/omap_start_dma to pause/resume the DMA.
This method has been used for years on OMAP based products.
We only allow pause/resume when the DMA has been configured in cyclic mode
which is used by the audio stack.

When src_maxburst/dst_maxburst is set to 0 by the users of cyclic DMA
(mostly audio) indicates that we should configure the omap DMA to element
sync mode instead of packet mode.

Pull UBI fastmap changes from Artem Bityutskiy:
"This pull request contains the UBI fastmap support implemented by
Richard Weinberger from Linutronix. Fastmap is designed to address
UBI's slow scanning issues. Namely, it introduces a new on-flash
data-structure called "fastmap", which stores the information about
logical<->physical eraseblocks mappings. So now to get this
information just read the fastmap, instead of doing full scan. More

One thing I want to explicitly say is that fastmap did not have large
enough linux-next exposure. It is partially my fault - I did not
respond quickly enough. I _really_ apologize for this. But it had
good testing and disabled by default, so I do not expect that we'll
break anything.
Fastmap is declared as experimental so far, and it is off by default.
We did declare that the on-flash format may be changed. The reason
for this is that no one used it in real production so far, so there is
a high risk that something is missing. Besides, we do not have
user-space tools supporting fastmap so far.
Nevertheless, I suggest we merge this feature. Many people want UBI's
scanning bottleneck to be fixed and merging fastmap now should

It moves also struct ubi_work to ubi.h as it is now needed

I can't even find how I figured this might be needed anymore. But sure
enough, the value I'm reading back on platforms doesn't match what the
docs recommends.
It seemed to fix Chris' GT1 in limited testing as well.

Now that we correctly generate it, this hack is no longer required (and
might actually paper over a serious bug).
pageflip timestamps are sanity check in the latest version of the flip-test
in intel-gpu-tools.
v2: Also remove the gettimeofday(&now) which is no longer used.
