The idea behind power policy was that it would start off as a modparam,
and then hook into the new "global" in-kernel power vs energy tunable.
But that tunable isn't happening, so delete the hook here.
With the policy hook gone, the sub-state choice functions
do not do anything useful, so delete them from the critical path.
To handle sub-states in the future, we will advertise them
with dedicated cpuidle_state entries. That is necessary
because some of the sub-states will have substantially different
properties than their peer sub-states.

The via-cputemp hwmon driver was probably intending "typedef enum {
... } SHOW;", but the "typedef" was missing creating a global variable
named "SHOW". There is absolutely no reason to have this in the
global namespace.

Add support for the 6 temperature monitoring channels of the PC87427.
Note that the sensors resolution can vary, and I couldn't find a way
to figure it out, so we might have to compensate in user-space.

The second logical device contains the voltage and temperature
registers. We have to extend the driver to support a second logical
device before we can add support for these features.

Add initial support for PWM outputs of the PC87427 Super-I/O chip.
Only mode change and manual fan speed control are supported. Automatic
mode configuration isn't supported, and won't be until at least one
board is known, which makes uses of the PWM outputs.

Most fan input pins of the PC87427 can have alternate functions.
Update the driver to check the configuration register and only support
fan inputs which are really used for fan monitoring.

SMSC's EMC2103 family of temperature/fan controllers have 1
onboard and up to 3 external temperature sensors, and allow
closed-loop control of one fan. This patch adds support for
them.

Some voltage sensors can be wired internally to the IT87xxF chip's own
power supply channels. In that case, we can inform user-space that the
wiring is known by exporting proper labels for these sensors.

Add support for exposing all GPIO pins as analog voltages. Though this is
not an ideal use of the chip, some hardware engineers may decide that the
LTC4245 meets their design requirements when studying the datasheet.
The GPIO pins are sampled in round-robin fashion, meaning that a slow
reader will see stale data. A userspace application can detect this,
because it will get -EAGAIN when reading from a sysfs file which contains
stale data.
Users can choose to use this feature on a per-chip basis by using either
platform data or the OF device tree (where applicable).

It's not OK to call platform_device_add_resources() multiple times
in a row. Despite its name, this functions sets the resources, it
doesn't add them. So we have to prepare an array with all the
resources, and then call platform_device_add_resources() once.
Before this fix, only the last I/O resource would be actually
registered. The other I/O resources were leaked.

[SCSI] reservation conflict after timeout causes device to be taken offline
Flipped us from always returning failed to always returning success in
the name of fixing the problem where reservation conflict returns from
test unit ready cause the device always to be taken offline.
Unfortuantely, it also introduced a problem whereby for commands other
than test unit ready, the eh dispatcher thinks they succeeded when
reservation conflict is returned, whereas in reality they failed. Fix
this by only returning success for the test unit ready case.

Using scsi_tgt_lib in a new target module, we were getting
the following warning and a stack traceback on every I/O completion:

Which is claiming we may be leaking a bio.
We don't leak bios (blk_rq_unmap_user should free them).
Set rq->bio to NULL before calling scsi_host_put_command().

When the transport is busy and we're sending an EH command drivers
occasionally return 'BUSY'. As this in most cases is the TUR
command sent as part of the error recovery this is a sure way
to make the error recovery escalate. Returning 'NEEDS_RETRY'
here will just retry the TUR command and eventually abort the
original command, thus making error handling far smoother.

The ibmvfc driver was incorrectly obtaining a scsi_target pointer
from an fc_rport. The way it is coded ensures that ibmvfc's
terminate_rport_io handler does absolutely nothing. Fix this up
to iterate through affected devices differently, sending cancel
and abort task set as appropriate. Without this patch,
fast_io_fail_tmo is broken for ibmvfc.

Commit 43c8da907ccc656935d1085701f4db83385d8a59 introduced a race
condition which can occur when adding/deleting rports. There are
two possible threads now that can be deleting rports in the ibmvfc
driver, which can result in list_del being called twice, resulting
in an oops. This patch adds a new state to the ibmvfc_target struct
to indicate the target has been removed from the list and is in
the process of being deleted.

- Removed the dependency of scanning of all the available FCF table
entries for bulding round-robin bitmap.
- Use the lpfc_sli4_fcf_rr_read_fcf_rec() in responding to
individual New FCF found event.

Outstanding mailbox commands, have no way to recover on f/w hung, and we
timeout on waiting for mbx response. This in turn affects the recovery process
as follows:
- We might already be in dpc while waiting for mbx to complete, so recovery for
that pci function will never get invoked. Reset Timeout (10 sec) is far less
than mbx timeout (30 sec).
- Other mbx cmds will get stuck due to serial mbx access.
Solution is to identify fw-hung scenario and handle outstanding mbx commands to
have an early-exit instead of waiting for response.
Other mbx commands waiting for access will also do an early-exit if fw-hung is
still applicable.

Also, changed boundary checking from size of total
structure to verification that we received the amount of
data needed to cache inernally. This change will provide
compatibility with mbx_sys_info structure sizes in both
older and newer firmware versions.

The rport port state and flags are set under the host lock,
so this patch calls fc_remote_port_chkready with the host lock
held like is also done in the other fc drivers.

iscsi_boot_sysfs does not depend on firmware. Any iscsi driver
can use it. This patch moves iscsi_boot_sysfs to the scsi
dir, so that it can be used on any arch with any driver.
