* DMA-API: usb: use dma_set_coherent_mask()Russell King2013-10-31
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The correct way for a driver to specify the coherent DMA mask is not to directly access the field in the struct device, but to use dma_set_coherent_mask(). Only arch and bus code should access this member directly. Convert all direct write accesses to using the correct API. |\ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/balbi/usb into usb-next USB gadget patches from Felipe: "usb: gadget: patches for v3.8 renesas_usbhs implements ->pullup() method, switches over to devm_request_irq(), adds support for DMA Engine and got a few miscelaneous cleanups. The NCM gadget got an endianness fix and the Ethernet gadget a frame size fix. We're finally removing the g_file_storage gadget and sticking to g_mass_storage and the new tcm_usb_gadget gadgets since that was a huge duplicaton of effort anyway. While removing g_file_storage, we also had to fix a bunch of defconfigs which were still pointing to the old gadget. There's a big series getting us closer to being able to introduce our configfs interface. The series converts functions into loadable modules which will, eventually, be registered to the configfs interface. Other than that there's the usual typo fixes and miscelaneous cleanups all over the place."

* | usb: gadget: lpc32xx_udc: Fix compatibility with STOTG04Alexandre Pereira da Silva2012-10-16
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The STOTG04 is an replacement for ISP1301. Most of the registers on STOTG04 are the same as on ISP1301, but the register ISP1301_I2C_OTG_CONTROL_2 (address 0x10) doesn't exist on the ST part. This is a work around for this by using the interrupt source register that should behave the same on both parts and has the needed information. * usb: gadget: lpc32xx_udc: Support multiple controllersRoland Stigge2012-08-31
| | | | | | | | | | | The lpc32xx_udc driver supported only one controller by defining a global static struct for it. This patch enables multiple instances of the controller by dynamic allocation of the struct at probe(). A static struct is kept as a template on initialization since it does some complex preset, reflecting fixed hardware endpoint structure. * usb: gadget: lpc32xx_udc: Remove usb_endpoint_descriptorRoland Stigge2012-08-31

Some UDCs have been converted to clk_prepare_enable() and clk_disable_unprepare(). Marvell now got support for its USB3 controller in mainline after introducing its mv_u3d_core.c driver.
