git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/linux-2.6-tip
This merges branches irq/genirq, irq/sparseirq-v4, timers/hpet-percpu
and x86/uv.
The sparseirq branch is just preliminary groundwork: no sparse IRQs are
actually implemented by this tree anymore - just the new APIs are added
while keeping the old way intact as well (the new APIs map 1:1 to
irq_desc[]). The 'real' sparse IRQ support will then be a relatively
small patch ontop of this - with a v2.6.29 merge target.

We're currently passing NULL, and really shouldn't be.

Some drivers are using too generic "serial" name for driver_name, this
might cause issues, like this:
Freescale QUICC Engine UART device driver
proc_dir_entry 'serial' already registered
Call Trace:

^^ The board is using ucc_uart.c and 8250.c, both registered as
"serial".
This patch fixes two drivers that are using "serial" for driver_name and
not "ttyS" for dev_name. Drivers that are using "ttyS" for dev_name, will
conflict anyway, so we don't bother with these.

- get rid of `model = "UCC"' in the ucc nodes
It isn't used anywhere, so remove it. If we'll ever need something
like this, we'll use compatible property instead.
- replace last occurrences of device-id with cell-index.
Drivers are modified for backward compatibility's sake.

Add file ucc_uart.c, a serial device driver for the Freescale QUICCEngine.
Update the Kconfig and Makefile accordingly.
