However, it's saner than the ->proc_info() and commits after this one will convert the existing ->proc_info() users to it. The read side is ->show_info(seq_file *, struct Scsi_Host *); use seq_... for generating contents. The write side is ->write_info(struct Scsi_Host *, char *, int). Again, this is driven by procfs needs; we are going to kill ->write_proc() and ->read_proc() and this is the main obstacle to burying that piece of shit. An IGB conflict existed because in 'net' the build_skb() support was reverted, and in 'net-next' there was a comment style fix within that code. Several batman-adv conflicts were resolved by making sure that all calls to batadv_is_my_mac() are changed to have a new bat_priv first argument. Eric Dumazet's TS ECR fix in TCP in 'net' conflicted with the F-RTO rewrite in 'net-next', mostly overlapping changes. The second NULL assignment comes from commit: 3e5c28ad0391389959ccae81c938c7533efb3490 It seems that the line after kfifo_in invocation was introduced accidentally.
