* drivers/pcmcia: remove unnecessary kzallocJulia Lawall2009-11-22
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The result of calling kzalloc is never used or freed. The semantic match that finds this problem is as follows: (http://www.emn.fr/x-info/coccinelle/) // <smpl> @r exists@ local idexpression x; statement S; expression E; identifier f,f1,l; position p1,p2; expression *ptr != NULL; @@ x@p1 = \(kmalloc\|kzalloc\|kcalloc\)(...); ... if (x == NULL) S <... when != x when != if (...) { <+...x...+> } ( x->f1 = E | (x->f1 == NULL || ...) | f(...,x->f1,...) ) ...> ( return \(0\|<+...x...+>\|ptr\); | return@p2 ...; ) @script:python@ p1 << r.p1; p2 << r.p2; @@ print "* file: %s kmalloc %s return %s" % (p1[0].file,p1[0].line,p2[0].line) // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Julia Lawall <julia@diku.dk> Signed-off-by: Dominik Brodowski <linux@dominikbrodowski.net>
* PCMCIA: stop duplicating pci_irq in soc_pcmcia_socketRussell King - ARM Linux2009-11-09
| | | | | | | | skt->irq is a mere duplication of pcmcia_socket's pci_irq member. Get rid of it. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Dominik Brodowski <linux@dominikbrodowski.net>
* PCMCIA: sa1111: remove duplicated initializersRussell King - ARM Linux2009-11-09

* PCMCIA: sa1111: wrap soc_pcmcia_socket to contain sa1111 specific dataRussell King - ARM Linux2009-11-09

* PCMCIA: soc_common: push socket removal down to SoC specific supportRussell King - ARM Linux2009-11-09
| | | | | | | | | Mechanically transplant the removal code from soc_common into each SoC specific base support file, thereby allowing soc_common_drv_pcmcia_remove to be removed. No other changes. * PM / PCMCIA: Drop second argument of pcmcia_socket_dev_suspend()Rafael J. Wysocki2009-09-28
| | | | | | | | | | pcmcia_socket_dev_suspend() doesn't use its second argument, so it may be dropped safely. This change is necessary for the subsequent yenta suspend/resume fix. Signed-off-by: Rafael J. Wysocki <rjw@sisk.pl> Cc: stable@kernel.org
* [ARM] acorn,ebsa110,footbridge,integrator,sa1100: Convert asm/io.h to linux/io.hRussell King2009-03-25

* [ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King2008-08-07
| | | | | | This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King2008-08-07
| | | | | | | | | Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. * [ARM] Fix sparse warningsRussell King2005-10-28
| | | | | | | | Fix sparse warnings in arch/arm/kernel/module.c, arch/arm/mm/consistent.c, drivers/pcmcia/sa1111_generic.c, and platform support files. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
* [ARM] 2873/1: PCMCIA soc: Allow access to filesystems on CF at boot timeRichard Purdie2005-09-03
| | | | | | | | | | | Patch from Richard Purdie This change makes the soc pcmcia interfaces available earlier in the boot process meaning devices like CF microdrives can be used for the root filesystem. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
