* [PATCH] yenta: auto-tune EnE bridges for CardBus cardsDaniel Ritz2005-09-26
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Echo Audio cardbus products are known to be incompatible with EnE bridges. in order to maybe solve the problem a EnE specific test bit has to be set, another cleared...but other setups have a good chance to break when just forcing the bits. so do the whole thingy automatically. The patch adds a hook in cb_alloc() that allows special tuning for the different chipsets. for ene just match the Echo products and set/clear the test bits, defaults to do the same thing as w/o the patch to not break working setups. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
