* libertas_tf: return NETDEV_TX_OK in TX opAndrey Yurovsky2009-01-12
| | | | | | | The TX op should return NETDEV_TX_OK or NETDEV_TX_BUSY. Signed-off-by: Andrey Yurovsky <andrey@cozybit.com> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
* mac80211/drivers: rewrite the rate control APIJohannes Berg2008-10-31
| | | | | | | | | | | | So after the previous changes we were still unhappy with how convoluted the API is and decided to make things simpler for everybody. This completely changes the rate control API, now taking into account 802.11n with MCS rates and more control, most drivers don't support that though. * mac80211: introduce hw config change flagsJohannes Berg2008-10-31
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This makes mac80211 notify the driver which configuration actually changed, e.g. channel etc. No driver changes, this is just plumbing, driver authors are expected to act on this if they want to. Also remove the HW CONFIG debug printk, it's incorrect, often we configure something else. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes@sipsolutions.net> Signed-off-by: John W. * mac80211: use nl80211 interface typesJohannes Berg2008-09-15
| | | | | | | | | | There's really no reason for mac80211 to be using its own interface type defines. Use the nl80211 types and simplify the configuration code a bit: there's no need to translate them any more now. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes@sipsolutions.net> Signed-off-by: John W. This patch contains most of the libertastf driver, just lacking command helper functions and usb specific functions. Currently, monitor, managed, ap and mesh interfaces are supported. Even though this driver supports the same hardware as the "libertas" driver, it uses a different (thin) firmware, that makes it suitable for a mac80211 driver.
