* ath9k: Fix chip wakeup issueSujith2009-09-23
| | | | | | | | | Waking up the chip after powering it down fails sometimes. In this case the CPU is locked for 200ms. Reduce this interval to 10ms to avoid excessive busy looping. Signed-off-by: Sujith <Sujith.Manoharan@atheros.com> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
* ath9k: Revamp PCIE workaroundsVivek Natarajan2009-09-23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | * Disable L1 state ONLY when device is in D3 mode. * Clear bit 22 of register 0x4004. * Handle power on/off properly Not setting the workarounds properly resulted in the disappearance of the card in certain cases. * ath9k: Add Bluetooth Coexistence 3-wire supportVasanthakumar Thiagarajan2009-08-28
| | | | | | | | This patch adds 3-wire bluetooth coex support for AR9285. This support can be enabled through btcoex_enable modparam. Signed-off-by: Vasanthakumar Thiagarajan <vasanth@atheros.com> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>

* ath9k: Remove hw capability bit meant for btcoexVasanthakumar Thiagarajan2009-08-28
| | | | | | | | We don't need a hw cap bit for btcoex anymore as btcoex scheme type is enough to do this. Signed-off-by: Vasanthakumar Thiagarajan <vasanth@atheros.com> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
* ath9k: Move btcoex related data to a separate structVasanthakumar Thiagarajan2009-08-28

* ath9k: Split ath9k_hw_btcoex_enable() into two logical piecesVasanthakumar Thiagarajan2009-08-28
| | | | | | | | | | | This function currently does initialization + enable the btcoex support. Split it into two logical functions which does the above operations separately. Btcoex initialization is done during attach time and enabling this feature is done in start(). Also, add code to disable btcoex support in stop(). * ath9k: Reduce the frequency of PA offset calibrationSujith2009-08-28
| | | | | | | | | PA calibration need not be done if the offset is not varying. The current logic does PA calibration even if the offset is the same. Signed-off-by: Sujith <Sujith.Manoharan@atheros.com> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>

* ath9k: describe hw initialization betterLuis R. Rodriguez2009-08-04
| | | | | | | | | | During initialization ath9k tends to use "attach" to when we initialize hardware due to the fact we used to attach a "HAL". The notion of a HAL is long gone, so lets just be clear on what we are doing. Signed-off-by: Luis R. Rodriguez <lrodriguez@atheros.com> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>

* ath9k: fix race with IEEE80211_CONF_PS checksGabor Juhos2009-07-29
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There is a small window where the mac80211 changes the IEEE80211_CONF_PS flag, and then informs the driver about the change. We have a race condition if we are checking the flag in the same time. Avoid it by introducing a local variable, and using that instead of checking the IEEE80211_CONF_PS flag directly. This fix the problem reported by Luis: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.wireless.general/34363 Changes-licensed-under: ISC Signed-off-by: Gabor Juhos <juhosg@openwrt.org> Signed-off-by: John W.
