* netdev: add missing set_mac_address hookStephen Hemminger2009-01-11
| | | | | | | | Many drivers lost the ability to set ethernet address accidently during the net_device_ops conversion. Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger <shemminger@vyatta.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* wd: use net_device_opsStephen Hemminger2008-11-25
| | | | | | | Another driver converted to net_device_ops; Compile tested only. Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger <shemminger@vyatta.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* net: convert print_mac to %pMJohannes Berg2008-10-27
| | | | | | | | | | | | This converts pretty much everything to print_mac. There were a few things that had conflicts which I have just dropped for now, no harm done. I've built an allyesconfig with this and looked at the files that weren't built very carefully, but it's a huge patch. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes@sipsolutions.net> Signed-off-by: David S. * [NET]: Introduce and use print_mac() and DECLARE_MAC_BUF()Joe Perches2007-10-10

* [NET]: Nuke SET_MODULE_OWNER macro.Ralf Baechle2007-10-10
| | | | | | | | | | | | It's been a useless no-op for long enough in 2.6 so I figured it's time to remove it. The number of people that could object because they're maintaining unified 2.4 and 2.6 drivers is probably rather small. * [PATCH] kill eth_io_copy_and_sum()Al Viro2007-02-09
| | | | | | | | | | | On all targets that sucker boils down to memcpy_fromio(sbk->data, from, len). The function name is highly misguiding (it _never_ does any checksums), the last argument is just a noise and simply expanding the call to memcpy_fromio() gives shorter and more readable source. For a lot of reasons it has almost no remaining users, so it's better to just outright kill it. * [PATCH] fix a few "warning: 'cleanup_card' defined but not used"Denis Vlasenko2006-01-09
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | These warnings are emitted if non-modular network drivers are built. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
