* mlx4_en: Fix cleanup if workqueue create in mlx4_en_add() failsRoland Dreier2009-04-21
| | | | | | | | | | | If creating a workqueue fails, don't jump to the error path where that same workqueue is destroyed, since destroy_workqueue() can't handle a NULL pointer. This was spotted by the Coverity checker (CID 2617). Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* mlx4_en: Always allocate RX ring for each interrupt vectorYevgeny Petrilin2008-12-29
| | | | | | | Removed module parameter specifying number of RX rings Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* mlx4_en: Verify number of RX rings doesn't exceed MAX_RX_RINGSYevgeny Petrilin2008-12-29
| | | | | | | | | Required in cases were dev->caps.num_comp_vectors > MAX_RX_RINGS. For current values this would happen on machines that have more then 16 cores. Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* mlx4_core: Add support for multiple completion event vectorsYevgeny Petrilin2008-12-22
| | | | | | | | | | | When using MSI-X mode, create a completion event queue for each CPU. Report the number of completion EQs in a new struct mlx4_caps member, num_comp_vectors, and extend the mlx4_cq_alloc() interface with a vector parameter so that consumers can specify which completion EQ should be used to report events for the CQ being created. * mlx4_en: Add driver for Mellanox ConnectX 10GbE NICYevgeny Petrilin2008-10-22
The Mellanox ConnectX can operate as an InfiniBand adapter, as an Ethernet NIC, or as a Fibre Channel (FC) HBA. The kernel has a low-level driver, mlx4_core, which handles multiplexing access to the device, and there is also already an InfiniBad driver, mlx4_ib. This patch adds a new driver, mlx4_en, which implements a standard Ethernet NIC driver.
