|\| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Conflicts: drivers/net/ieee802154/fakehard.c A bug fix went into 'net' for ieee802154/fakehard.c, which is removed in 'net-next'. Add build fix into the merge from Stephen Rothwell in openvswitch, the logging macros take a new initial 'log' argument, a new call was added in 'net' so when we merge that in here we have to explicitly add the new 'log' arg to it else the build fails. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Peer priority groups were being reversed, but this was missed in the previous fix sent out for this issue. v2 : Previous patch was doing extra unnecessary work, result is the same. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | * In LLD_MANAGED mode, traffic classes were being returned in reverse order to lldp agent. * Priotype of strict is no longer the default returned. * Change behaviour of getdcbx() based on discussions on lldp-devel These were missed as there was no working fetch interface for open-lldp when running in LLD_MANAGED mode till now. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Congestion Threshold Free List Starvation Threshold needs to be larger than the SGE's Egress Congestion Threshold or we'll end up in a mutual stall where the driver waits for Ingress Packets to drive replacing Free List Pointers and the SGE waits for Free List Pointers before pushing Ingress Packets to the host. | * cxgb4/cxgb4vf: For T5 use Packing and Padding Boundaries for SGE DMA transfersHariprasad Shenai2014-11-10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | T5 introduces the ability to have separate Packing and Padding Boundaries for SGE DMA transfers from the chip to Host Memory. This change set takes advantage of that to set up a smaller Padding Boundary to conserve PCI Link and Memory Bandwidth with T5. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Move fl_starv_thres into adapter->sge data structure since it _could_ be different from adapter to adapter. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Refactored all macros used in cxgb4i as part of previously started cxgb4 macro names cleanup. Makes them more uniform and avoids namespace collision. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Various patches have ended up changing the style of the symbolic macros/register defines to different style. As a result, the current kernel.org files are a mix of different macro styles. Since this macro/register defines is used by different drivers a few patch series have ended up adding duplicate macro/register define entries with different styles. This makes these register define/macro files a complete mess and we want to make them clean and consistent. This patch cleans up a part of it. * cxgb4: Fix FW flash logic using ethtoolHariprasad Shenai2014-10-14
| | | | | | | | | | | Use t4_fw_upgrade instead of t4_load_fw to write firmware into FLASH, since t4_load_fw doesn't co-ordinate with the firmware and the adapter can get hosed enough to require a power cycle of the system. * cxgb4vf: Add 40G support for cxgb4vf driverHariprasad Shenai2014-10-09
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Add 40G support for cxgb4vf driver. ethtool speed values are just numbers of megabits and there is no SPEED_40000 in ethtool speed values. To be consistent, use integer constants directly for all speeds. Use is_x_10g_port()("is 10Gb/s or higher") in cfg_queues() instead of is_10g_port() ("is exactly 10Gb/s"). Else we will end up using a single "Queue Set" on 40Gb/s adapters. Signed-off-by: Hariprasad Shenai <hariprasad@chelsio.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

* cxgb4: clean up a type issueDan Carpenter2014-10-08
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The tx_desc struct holds 8 __be64 values. The original code in ring_tx_db() took a tx_desc pointer then casted it to an int pointer and then casted it to a u64 pointer. It was confusing and triggered some static checker warnings. I have changed the cxgb_pio_copy() function to only take tx_desc pointers. This isn't really a loss of flexibility because anything else was buggy to begin with. I also removed the casting on the destination pointer since that was unnecessary and a bit messy. Signed-off-by: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter@oracle.com> Signed-off-by: David S.
