* [media] vpif_capture: move routing info from subdev to inputHans Verkuil2012-10-05
| | | | | | | | | | | | Routing information is a property of the input, not of the subdev. One subdev may provide multiple inputs, each with its own routing information. | | | | | | | | | | | The output index does not belong to video_obj, it belongs to channel_obj. Also rename to output_idx to be consistent with the input_idx name used in vpif_capture. | | | | | | | | | | | input_idx does not belong to video_obj. Move it where it belongs. Also remove the bogus code in the open() function that suddenly changes the input to 0 for no reason. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | channel_first_int[][] variable is used as a flag for the ISR, This flag was being set after enabling the interrupts, There where situations when the isr occurred even before the flag was set dues to which it was causing the application hang. This patch sets channel_first_int[][] flag just before enabling the interrupt. * [media] drivers/media/platform/davinci/vpfe_capture.c: fix error return codePeter Senna Tschudin2012-09-23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Convert a nonnegative error return code to a negative one, as returned elsewhere in the function. A simplified version of the semantic match that finds this problem is as follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/) // <smpl> ( if@p1 (\(ret < 0\|ret != 0\)) { ... return ret; } | ret@p1 = 0 ) ... when != ret = e1 when != &ret *if(...) { ... when != ret = e2 when forall return ret; } // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Peter Senna Tschudin <peter.senna@gmail.com> Cc: Prabhakar Lad <prabhakar.lad@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* [media] Kconfig: merge all customise options into just oneMauro Carvalho Chehab2012-08-21
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Instead of having 3 options to allow customizing the media sub-drivers (tuners, I2C drivers, frontends), merge all of them into just one. That simplifies the life for users, as they can just keep this untouched. Life for developers is also simpler, as there's now just one Kconfig item to remember, for the ancillary sub-drivers providing supports for chips that could change from one board design to another.
