* V4L/DVB (7538): Adds selectable adapter numbers as per module optionJanne Grunau2008-04-24
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The adapter_nr module options can be used to allocate static adapter numbers on a driver level. It avoids problems with changing DVB apapter numbers after warm/cold boot or device unplugging and repluging. Each driver holds DVB_MAX_ADAPTER long array of the preferred order of adapter numbers. options dvb-usb-dib0700 adapter_nr=7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 would result in a reversed allocation of adapter numbers. With adapter_nr=2,5 it tries first to get adapter number 2 and 5. If both are already in use it will allocate the lowest free adapter number. * V4L/DVB (6037): Updated GenPix USB driverAlan Nisota2007-10-09
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are now 4 different versions of the GENPIX USB adapter. The newest 'Skywalker' models are fully self-contained, and need no additional hardware to be used. A very reliable DVB-S card even without using any of the alternate modulatations (which this kernel module does not currently support) The following patch adds support for all 4 versions of the genpix adapter (www.genpix-electronics.com). * V4L/DVB (4643): Multi-input patch for DVB-USB devicePatrick Boettcher2006-10-03
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch is the first commit of the Multiple Input Patch for the DVB-USB frame work. It changes the DVB-USB-device to be able to have more than one streaming input (e.g. multiple DVB-T sources) on one device. This is a necessary feature for the upcoming DiB7700 driven devices. * V4L/DVB (4029): [PATCH] Genpix 8PSK->USB driver (Take 2)Alan Nisota2006-06-25
This is a patch which includes support for the GENPIX 8PSK->USB module. The board supports QPSK, BPSK and 8PSK decoding (though I don't think it will be DVB-S2 compliant) With the following patch, the boad is equivalent to a budget card (no CA Module) The patch which adds 8psk suppot will follow, but is seperate, as it requires DVB-S2 support More info on the board can be found at www.genpix-electronics.com (and they host the requisite firmwares there as well) Signed off by: Alan Nisota <alannisota@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Patrick Boettcher <pb@linuxtv.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@infradead.org>
