* [POWERPC] Copy over headers from arch/ppc to arch/powerpc that we needKumar Gala2007-08-22
| | | | | | | | | | | To build arch/powerpc without including asm-ppc/ we need these files in asm-powerpc/ Moved some headers under arch/powerpc/platforms if they were only used by platform or driver files and fixed up the source file includes to match the new locations Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
* [POWERPC] Remove old interface find_devicesStephen Rothwell2007-04-24
| | | | | | | Replace uses with of_find_node_by_name and for_each_node_by_name. Signed-off-by: Stephen Rothwell <sfr@canb.auug.org.au> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
* [PATCH] mark struct file_operations const 4Arjan van de Ven2007-02-12
| | | | | | | | | | | | Many struct file_operations in the kernel can be "const". Marking them const moves these to the .rodata section, which avoids false sharing with potential dirty data. In addition it'll catch accidental writes at compile time to these shared resources. * [PATCH] powerpc: Remove sections use from ppc64 and driversJon Loeliger2005-09-18
| | | | | | | | | | | Here is a new patch that removes all notion of the pmac, prep, chrp and openfirmware initialization sections, and then unifies the sections.h files without those __pmac, etc, sections identifiers cluttering things up. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
