* RDMA: Remove subversion $Id tagsRoland Dreier2008-07-15
| | | | | | They don't get updated by git and so they're worse than useless. Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
* IB/mthca: Set GRH:HopLimit when building MLX headersRolf Manderscheid2007-05-19
| | | | | | | | | | | Global CM packets used by rmda_cm were being sent with a GRH:hopLimit of zero, causing them to be dropped by the router. The problem is a missing initialization of the hop_limit field in mthca_read_ah(), which was called by build_mlx_header() when sending a MAD on QP1. * [PATCH] slab: remove SLAB_ATOMICChristoph Lameter2006-12-07
| | | | | | | | SLAB_ATOMIC is an alias of GFP_ATOMIC Signed-off-by: Christoph Lameter <clameter@sgi.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
* IB/mthca: Fix section mismatchesRoland Dreier2006-11-29
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit b3b30f5e ("IB/mthca: Recover from catastrophic errors") introduced some section mismatch breakage, because the error recovery code tears down and reinitializes the device, which calls into lots of code originally marked __devinit and __devexit from regular .text. Fix this by getting rid of these now-incorrect section markers. Reported by Randy Dunlap <randy.dunlap@oracle.com>. Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
* IB/mthca: Fix default static rate returned for Tavor in AVJack Morgenstein2006-09-22
| | | | | | | | | When default static rate is returned for Tavor, need to translate it to an ib rate value. Signed-off-by: Jack Morgenstein <jackm@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
* [PATCH] IB/mthca: fix static rate returned by mthca_ah_queryJack Morgenstein2006-07-15
| | | | | | | | | | | | mthca_ah_query returs the static rate of the address handle in internal mthc format. fix it to use rate encoding from enum ib_rate, which is what users expect. * IB: simplify static rate encodingJack Morgenstein2006-04-10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Push translation of static rate to HCA format into low-level drivers, where it belongs. For static rate encoding, use encoding of rate field from IB standard PathRecord, with addition of value 0, for backwards compatibility with current usage. The changes are: - Add enum ib_rate to midlayer includes. - Get rid of static rate translation in IPoIB; just use static rate directly from Path and MulticastGroup records. - Update mthca driver to translate absolute static rate into the format used by hardware. This also fixes mthca's static rate handling for HCAs that are capable of 4X DDR. Signed-off-by: Jack Morgenstein <jackm@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
* IB/mthca: Fix section mismatch problemsRoland Dreier2006-03-29
| | | | | | | | | Quite a few cleanup functions in mthca were marked as __devexit. However, they could also be called from error paths during initialization, so they cannot be marked that way. Just delete all of the incorrect annotations. Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
* IB/mthca: Implement query_ah methodJack Morgenstein2006-03-20
| | | | | | | | | Implement query_ah (except for AVs which are in HCA memory). This is needed to implement RMPP duplicate session detection on sending side (extraction of DGID/DLID and GRH flag from address handle). Signed-off-by: Jack Morgenstein <jackm@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
* IB/mthca: Whitespace cleanupsRoland Dreier2006-03-20
| | | | | | | Remove trailing whitespace and fix indentation that with spaces instead of tabs. Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
* IB/mthca: Use correct GID in MADs sent on port 2Michael S. Tsirkin2006-01-21
| | | | | | | | | | mthca_create_ah() includes the port number in the GID index. The reverse needs to be done in mthca_read_ah(). Noted by Hal Rosenstock. Signed-off-by: Michael S. Tsirkin <mst@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
* IB/mthca: Initialize grh_present before using itMichael S. Tsirkin2006-01-12
| | | | | | | | | | build_mlx_header() was using sqp->ud_header.grh_present before it was initialized by mthca_read_ah(). Furthermore, header->grh_present is set by ib_ud_header_init, so there's no need to set it again in mthca_read_ah(). Signed-off-by: Michael S. Tsirkin <mst@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
* [PATCH] fix missing includesTim Schmielau2005-10-30
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | I recently picked up my older work to remove unnecessary #includes of sched.h, starting from a patch by Dave Jones to not include sched.h from module.h. This reduces the number of indirect includes of sched.h by ~300. Another ~400 pointless direct includes can be removed after this disentangling (patch to follow later). However, quite a few indirect includes need to be fixed up for this. In order to feed the patches through -mm with as little disturbance as possible, I've split out the fixes I accumulated up to now (complete for i386 and x86_64, more archs to follow later) and post them before the real patch. This way this large part of the patch is kept simple with only adding #includes, and all hunks are independent of each other. So if any hunk rejects or gets in the way of other patches, just drop it. My scripts will pick it up again in the next round. * [PATCH] IB: move include files to include/rdmaRoland Dreier2005-08-26
| | | | | | | | Move the InfiniBand headers from drivers/infiniband/include to include/rdma. This allows InfiniBand-using code to live elsewhere, and lets us remove the ugly EXTRA_CFLAGS include path from the InfiniBand Makefiles. Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>

* [PATCH] IB/mthca: encapsulate mem-free check into mthca_is_memfree()Roland Dreier2005-04-16
| | | | | | | | | Clean up mem-free mode support by introducing mthca_is_memfree() function, which encapsulates the logic of deciding if a device is mem-free. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
