Currently ARC_HAS_LLSC can be influenced by platform for SMP only using
ARC_HAS_COH_LLSC. For !SMP it defaults to "y".
It turns out that some customers can't support it all, even in UP.
So we change the semantics, and use a negative dependency ARC_CANT_LLSC.
Any platform (independent of SMP or !SMP) can select it to disable LLSC.

The existing uImage target always generates gzip compressed image which
drags bootup for some very slow FPGA customer boards.
So introduce seperate make targets:uImage.{bin,gz} with uncompressed
being default. Also tie gz generation to CONFIG_KERNEL_GZIP, which a
platform can select in it's Kconfig if it wishes gz to be default.

There's no (Kconfig) macro CONFIG_BLOCK_DEV_RAM. (CONFIG_BLK_DEV_RAM
does exist though.) But linux/blk.h got killed in 2005 anyway (in a
patch titled "kill blk.h"), so these three lines can be removed.

The Tilera hypervisor shipped in releases up through MDE 4.1 launches
the client operating system (i.e. Linux) at privilege level 1 (PL1).
Starting with MDE 4.2, as part of the work to enable KVM, the
Tilera hypervisor launches Linux at PL2 instead.
This commit makes the KERNEL_PL option default to 2 for tilegx, while
still saying at 1 for tilepro, which doesn't have an updated hypervisor.
It also explains how and when you might want to choose another value.
In addition, we change a small buglet in the on-chip Ethernet driver,
where we were failing to use the KERNEL_PL constant in an API call.
To make the transition cleaner, this change also provides the updated
hv_init() API for the new hypervisor that supports announcing Linux's
compiled-in PL, so the hypervisor can generate a suitable error in the
case of a mismatched hypervisor and Linux binary.

For real PCI devices 00:00.0, 00:02.0 and 00:03.0, there is either no
PCI shim, or no guarantee of data correctness of offset 256-4k. So for
whatever reason, Linux kernel should not do MMCFG PCI config access to
those devices. Instead, always use configuration mechanism 1 for those
devices.
The 00:00.0, 00:02.0 and 00:03.0 devices are built-in single-function
devices and are not PCI-PCI bridges, so this set of devices should be
complete.

SH GPIO drivers all use gpiolib and CONFIG_GENERIC_GPIO is only selected
through CONFIG_GPIOLIB, yet some compilation units depended on
CONFIG_GENERIC_GPIO. Make them depend on CONFIG_GPIOLIB instead since it
is more accurate and prepares us for the future removal of
CONFIG_GENERIC_GPIO.

If the device-tree blob is present during boot, then register the SDMA
controller with the device-tree DMA driver so that we can use device-tree
to look-up DMA client information.

- Since drivers/irqchip/irq-gic.c no longer has dependencies on arm32
specifics (the 'gic' branch merged), it can be enabled on arm64.

The bitops prototype use an 'int' as the bit index type but the asm
implementation assume it to be a 'long'. Since the compiler does not
guarantee zeroing the upper 32-bits in a register when used as 'int',
change the bitops implementation accordingly.

ESR.WnR bit is always set on data cache maintenance faults even though
the page is not required to have write permission. If a translation
fault (page not yet mapped) happens for read-only user address range,
Linux incorrectly assumes a permission fault. This patch adds the check
of the ESR.CM bit during the page fault handling to ignore the 'write'
flag.

Commit 90556ca1 ("arm64: vexpress: Add dts files for the ARMv8 RTSM
models") added foundation-v8.dts, but erroneously set
/cpus/#address-cells = <1> while providing two cells in each cpus/cpu@N
node's reg property.
As of commit ea393a2e ("arm64: smp: honour #address-size when parsing
CPU reg property") we read in as many address cells as specified rather
than always reading two. This means that for foundation-v8.dts, we only
read the first reg cell (zero) for each cpu node, and receive a lot of
warnings at boot of the form "/cpus/cpu@1: duplicate cpu reg properties
in the DT".
This patch corrects foundation-v8.dts to have the correct value for
/cpus/#address-cells.
