* ARCH: drivers remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman2013-01-03
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This fixes up all of the smaller arches that had __dev* markings for their platform-specific drivers. CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. * sh/PCI: move fixup hooks from __init to __devinitSebastian Andrzej Siewior2012-06-16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The fixups are executed once the pci-device is found which is during boot process so __init seems fine as long as the platform does not support hotplug. However it is possible to remove the PCI bus at run time and have it rediscovered again via "echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/rescan" and this will call the fixups again. * PCI: Make the struct pci_dev * argument of pci_fixup_irqs const.Ralf Baechle2011-07-22
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Aside of the usual motivation for constification, this function has a history of being abused a hook for interrupt and other fixups so I turned this function const ages ago in the MIPS code but it should be done treewide. Due to function pointer passing in varous places a few other functions had to be constified as well. * sh: Improved multi-resource handling for SH7780 PCI.Paul Mundt2010-02-01
| | | | | | | | | | The SH7780 PCI controller supports 3 different ranges of PCI memory in addition to its PCI I/O window. In the case of 29-bit mode, only 2 memory windows are supported, while in 32-bit mode all 3 are visible. This attempts to make the resource handling completely dynamic and to permit platforms to map in as many apertures as they can handle. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

* sh: pci: Flag the dreamcast BBA as IORESOURCE_PCI_FIXED.Paul Mundt2009-04-20
| | | | | | | This isn't a real BAR, so prevent any attempts to move it, as we don't wish to encourage a bus luck by overzealous PCI initialization code. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | This follows the sparc changes a439fe51a1f8eb087c22dd24d69cebae4a3addac. * sh: use declared coherent memory for dreamcast pci ethernet adapterMagnus Damm2008-01-27
| | | | | | | | | | | This patch makes the dreamcast use the recently added declared coherent memory functions to point out the memory window suitable for dma. Apart from cleaning up, this gives the dreamcast a proper memory allocator for pci dma memory. Signed-off-by: Magnus Damm <damm@igel.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
