* powerpc: Remove arch/ppc and include/asm-ppcPaul Mackerras2008-06-10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | All the maintained platforms are now in arch/powerpc, so the old arch/ppc stuff can now go away. * [POWERPC] Use __SPIN_LOCK_UNLOCKED macro in mpc52xx_set_psc_clkdivRobert P. J. Day2008-04-06
| | | | | | | __SPIN_LOCK_UNLOCKED is newer and is not deprecated. Signed-off-by: Robert P. J. Day <rpjday@crashcourse.ca> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
* [POWERPC] Add common clock setting routine mpc52xx_psc_set_clkdiv()Grant Likely2008-01-26
| | | | | | | | PSC drivers should not access the CDM registers directly. Instead provide a common routine for setting the PSC clock parameters with the required locking. Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca>

* [PATCH] ppc32: Reorganize and complete MPC52xx initial cpu setupSylvain Munaut2006-03-26
| | | | | | | | | | | ppc32: Reorganize and complete MPC52xx initial cpu setup This patch splits up the CPU setup into a generic part and a platform specific part. We also add a few missing init at the same time. Signed-off-by: Sylvain Munaut <tnt@246tNt.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
* [PATCH] powerpc: trivial: modify comments to refer to new location of filesJon Mason2006-02-10
| | | | | | | | | This patch removes all self references and fixes references to files in the now defunct arch/ppc64 tree. I think this accomplises everything wanted, though there might be a few references I missed. Signed-off-by: Jon Mason <jdmason@us.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
* [PATCH] ppc32: Fix static IO mapping for Freescale MPC52xxSylvain Munaut2006-01-06
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The current iomapping used MBAR_SIZE for the size argument of io_block_mapping, resulting in a call to setbat with a size argument of 64k which is invalid. This patch correct this and maps the whole 0xf0000000->0xffffffff range so that devices on the local bus are also included in the BAT mapping. Thanks to Bernhard Kuhn from Metrowerks for pointing this out. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
