* [PPC] Remove 85xx from arch/ppcKumar Gala2008-01-28
| | | | | | | 85xx exists in arch/powerpc as well as cuImage support to boot from a u-boot that doesn't support device trees. Signed-off-by: Kumar Gala <galak@kernel.crashing.org>
* [PATCH] ppc32: fix ppc44x fpu buildMatt Porter2005-11-09
| | | | | | | | | Fixes ppc44x fpu support that broke from a bad arch/powerpc merge. Instead of adding KernelFP back in (which duplicates code) we use the same kernel fpu unavailable handler as classic PPC processors. * powerpc: merge idle_power4.S and trapc.sStephen Rothwell2005-10-01
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Use idle_power4.S from ppc64 as we are not going to support 32 bit power4 in the merged tree. Merge ppc64 traps.c into powerpc traps.c: use ppc64 versions of exception routine names (as they don't have StudlyCaps) make all the versions if die() have the same prototype Signed-off-by: Stephen Rothwell <sfr@canb.auug.org.au>
* [PATCH] ppc32: Add support for Freescale e200 (Book-E) coreKumar Gala2005-06-25
| | | | | | | | | | | | The e200 core is a Book-E core (similar to e500) that has a unified L1 cache and is not cache coherent on the bus. The e200 core also adds a separate exception level for debug exceptions. Part of this patch helps to cleanup a few cases that are true for all Freescale Book-E parts, not just e500. * [PATCH] ppc32: Factor out common exception code into macro's for 4xx/Book-EKumar Gala2005-06-21
| | | | | | | | | | 4xx and Book-E PPC's have several exception levels. The code to handle each level is fairly regular. Turning the code into macro's will ease the handling of future exception levels (debug) in forth coming chips. * [PATCH] ppc32: refactor FPU exception handlingPaul Mackerras2005-05-01
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Moved common FPU exception handling code out of head.S so it can be used by several of the sub-architectures that might of a full PowerPC FPU. Also, uses new CONFIG_PPC_FPU define to fix alignment exception handling for floating point load/store instructions to only occur if we have a hardware FPU. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
