* Use rtc_lock to protect RTC operationsAtsushi Nemoto2005-11-07
| | | | | | | | | Many RTC routines were not protected against each other, so there are potential races, for example, ntp-update against /dev/rtc. This patch fixes them using rtc_lock. Signed-off-by: Atsushi Nemoto <anemo@mba.ocn.ne.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
* prom_free_prom_memory() returns unsigned longArthur Othieno2005-10-29
| | | | | | | | | | Some boards declare prom_free_prom_memory as a void function but the caller free_initmem() expects a return value. Fix those up and return 0 instead, just like everyone else does. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
