* [IA64] Add __read_mostly support for IA64Christoph Lameter2005-12-16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | sparc64, i386 and x86_64 have support for a special data section dedicated to rarely updated data that is frequently read. The section was created to avoid false sharing of those rarely read data with frequently written kernel data. This patch creates such a data section for ia64 and will group rarely written data into this section. * [PATCH] kprobes/ia64: refuse kprobe on ivt codeKeshavamurthy Anil S2005-06-27
| | | | | | | | | | | | Not safe to insert kprobes on IVT code. This patch checks to see if the address on which Kprobes is being inserted is in ivt code and if it is in ivt code then refuse to register kprobe. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
