It also includes one stray bugfix that was misapplied (should have been

When this inconsistency occurs, the system will typically operate without
issue, it's just that EMC scaling won't optimally. Convert the BUG_ON to
a WARN_ONCE in order to allow the kernel to boot, but still complain.

Tegra30 has 1 extra legacy interrupt controller. Use the GIC ITLinesNumber
field to determine how many interrupt controllers we have and initialize
appropriately. Also make room for the extra tegra30 interrupts by moving
the GPIO IRQ base. This shouldn't affect existing code as it determines the
correct IRQ number for GPIOs using TEGRA_GPIO_TO_IRQ().

It was observed on a mx31pdk board that audio playback only worked when the bootloader was Redboot, and
did not work when U-boot was used.
Comparing the sources of these bootloaders showed that the AIPS registers were not setup in U-boot.
Instead of relying on the bootloader to setup the AIPS registers, do it in the kernel so that audio
playback can work independantly of the bootloader being used.
Copied the AIPS settings from Redboot to the kernel.

The LPM field of register CCMR is used to select the mode that the processor will run
when it goes to WFI.
When mx31 enters in WFI mode the LPM field is at its reset value of 0,
which configures the mx31 to enter in "wait mode".
On mx35, the LPM field on mx35 is also at 0 after reset, which corresponds
to "run mode" instead of "wait mode".
Instead of relying on the reset value of LPM to set the low power mode for
WFI, configure mx31 and mx35 to run in "wait mode"

We need to detect the SoC revision early, but the SoC
feature detection can be done later on. In order to allow
further clean-up later on, this patch separates the SoC
revision check from the SoC feature check.
This patch doesn't change functionality or behavior of the code
execution; it barely cleans up the code and splits into SoC
specific implementation for Rev ID and feature detection.

As part of omap revision code cleanup, make cpu_rev
variable static global to the file (id.c). This is
needed so we can split the SoC detection from SoC
feature detection in the following patch. Also move
omap3_cpuinfo function a bit as that will be shared
by other omap3 like SoCs.

Fix the bit field width information for the IPSR4 register
in the r8a7779 pin function controller (PFC).
Without this fix the Marzen board fails to receive data
over the serial console due to misconfigured pin function
for the RX pin.

This patch also (at the request of the list) fixes the fact that
ARM has both LE and BE versions however the audit code was called as if
it was always BE. If audit userspace were to try to interpret the bits
it got from a LE system it would obviously do so incorrectly. Fix this
by using the right arch flag on the right system.

Current ARM local timer code registers CPUFREQ notifiers even in case
the twd_timer_setup() isn't called. That seems to be wrong and
would eventually lead to kernel crash on the CPU frequency transitions
on the SOCs where the local timer doesn't exist or broken because of
hardware BUG. Fix it by testing twd_evt and *__this_cpu_ptr(twd_evt).
The issue was observed with v3.3-rc3 and building an OMAP2+ kernel
on OMAP3 SOC which doesn't have TWD.

Bootup with lockdep enabled has been broken on v7 since b46c0f74657d
("ARM: 7321/1: cache-v7: Disable preemption when reading CCSIDR").
This is because v7_setup (which is called very early during boot) calls
v7_flush_dcache_all, and the save_and_disable_irqs added by that patch
ends up attempting to call into lockdep C code (trace_hardirqs_off())
when we are in no position to execute it (no stack, MMU off).
Fix this by using a notrace variant of save_and_disable_irqs. The code
already uses the notrace variant of restore_irqs.

These are the bug fixes that have accumulated since 3.3-rc3 in arm-soc.
The majority of them are regression fixes for stuff that broke during
the merge 3.3 window.
The notable ones are:
* The at91 ata drivers both broke because of an earlier cleanup patch that
some other patches were based on. Jean-Christophe decided to remove
the legacy at91_ide driver and fix the new-style at91-pata driver while
keeping the cleanup patch. I almost rejected the patches for being too
late and too big but in the end decided to accept them because they
fix a regression.
* A patch fixing build breakage from the sysdev-to-device conversion
colliding with other changes touches a number of mach-s3c files.
* b0654037 "ARM: orion: Fix Orion5x GPIO regression from MPP cleanup"
is a mechanical change that unfortunately touches a lot of lines
that should up in the diffstat.

On OMAP2420-based systems, the PM code ignores the state of the UART
functional clocks when determining what idle state to enter. This
breaks the serial port now that the UART driver's clock behavior can
be controlled via the PM autosuspend timeout.
To fix, remove the special-case idle handling for the UARTs in the
OMAP2420/2430 PM idle code added by commit
4af4016c53f52b26461b8030211f8427a58fa5ed ("OMAP3: PM: UART: disable
clocks when idle and off-mode support").
Tested on Nokia N800. This patch is a collaboration between Tony

The following commit: 6b2f55d7851aa358d3a99cff344c560c4967f042,
is adding the support for the CONFIG_MULTI_IRQ_HANDLER but did
not update all the machine descriptors supported in the DT
board-generic.c file.
It thus break the DT boot on OMAP3 and OMAP4 boards.
Add the proper handle_irq callbacks for OMAP3 and OMAP4 generic
machine descriptors.

Commit db0d4db22a78 ('ARM: gic: allow GIC to support non-banked setups)
