Old versions of binutils (before 2.23) do not yet understand the
crypto-neon-fp-armv8 fpu instructions, and an attempt to build these
files results in a build failure:
arch/arm/crypto/aes-ce-core.S:133: Error: selected processor does not support ARM mode `vld1.8 {q10-q11},[ip]!'
arch/arm/crypto/aes-ce-core.S:133: Error: bad instruction `aese.8 q0,q8'
arch/arm/crypto/aes-ce-core.S:133: Error: bad instruction `aesmc.8 q0,q0'
arch/arm/crypto/aes-ce-core.S:133: Error: bad instruction `aese.8 q0,q9'
arch/arm/crypto/aes-ce-core.S:133: Error: bad instruction `aesmc.8 q0,q0'
Since the affected versions are still in widespread use, and this breaks
'allmodconfig' builds, we should try to at least get a successful kernel
build. Unfortunately, I could not come up with a way to make the Kconfig
symbol depend on the binutils version, which would be the nicest solution.
Instead, this patch uses the 'as-instr' Kbuild macro to find out whether
the support is present in the assembler, and otherwise emits a non-fatal
warning indicating which selected modules could not be built.

The sha256 assembly implementation can deal with all architecture levels
from ARMv4 to ARMv7-A, but not with ARMv7-M. Enabling it in an
ARMv7-M kernel results in this build failure:
arm-linux-gnueabi-ld: error: arch/arm/crypto/sha256_glue.o: Conflicting architecture profiles M/A
arm-linux-gnueabi-ld: failed to merge target specific data of file arch/arm/crypto/sha256_glue.o
This adds a Kconfig dependency to prevent the code from being disabled
for ARMv7-M.

Pull ARM fix from Russell King:
"Just one fix this time around. __iommu_alloc_buffer() can cause a
BUG() if dma_alloc_coherent() is called with either __GFP_DMA32 or
__GFP_HIGHMEM set. The patch from Alexandre addresses this"

There doesn't seem to be any valid reason to allocate the pages array
with the same flags as the buffer itself. Doing so can eventually lead
to the following safeguard in mm/slab.c's cache_grow() to be hit:
if (unlikely(flags & GFP_SLAB_BUG_MASK)) {
pr_emerg("gfp: %un", flags & GFP_SLAB_BUG_MASK);
BUG();
}
This happens when buffers are allocated with __GFP_DMA32 or
__GFP_HIGHMEM.
Fix this by allocating the pages array with GFP_KERNEL to follow what is
done elsewhere in this file. Using GFP_KERNEL in __iommu_alloc_buffer()
is safe because atomic allocations are handled by __iommu_alloc_atomic().

of_device_ids (i.e. compatible strings and the respective data) are not
supposed to change at runtime. All functions working with of_device_ids
provided by <linux/of.h> work with const of_device_ids. So mark the
non-const structs in arch/arm as const, too.
While at it also add some __initconst annotations.

The definition
static const char *axxia_dt_match[] __initconst = {
...
defines a changable array of constant strings. That is you must not do:
*axxia_dt_match[0] = 'k';
but
axxia_dt_match[0] = "different string";
is fine. So the annotation __initconst is wrong and yields a compiler
error when other really const variables are added with __initconst.
As the struct machine_desc member dt_compat is declared as
const char *const *dt_compat;
making the arrays const is the better alternative over changing all
annotations to __initdata.

The rockchips suspend/resume code requires regulators to work,
and gives a compile-time error if they are not available:

which is what we do on a lot of other platforms as well.

Most platforms use void pointer arguments in these functions, but
ixp4xx does not, which triggers lots of warnings in device drivers like:

The davinci DA8xx and DMx families have incompatible zreladdr
settings, and attempting to build a kernel with both enabled
results in an error unless AUTO_ZRELADDR is set:
multiple zreladdrs: 0xc0008000 0x80008000
This needs CONFIG_AUTO_ZRELADDR to be set
This patch changes Kconfig to make the two families mutually
exclusive when this is unset.

davinci_cfg_reg gets called from a lot of locations that
might get called after the init section has been discarded,
so the function itself must not be marked __init either.
The kernel build currently warns about this with lots of
messages like:
WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text.unlikely+0x24c): Section mismatch in reference from the function dm365evm_mmc_configure() to the function .init.text:davinci_cfg_reg()
The function dm365evm_mmc_configure() references
the function __init davinci_cfg_reg().
This is often because dm365evm_mmc_configure lacks a __init
annotation or the annotation of davinci_cfg_reg is wrong.
This removes the extraneous __init_or_module annotation.

A recent cleanup rearranged the Kconfig file for mach-bcm and
accidentally dropped the dependency on ARCH_MULTI_V7, which
makes it possible to now build the two mobile SoC platforms
on an ARMv6-only kernel, resulting in a log of Kconfig
warnings like
warning: ARCH_BCM_MOBILE selects ARM_ERRATA_775420 which has unmet direct dependencies (CPU_V7)
and which of course cannot work on any machine.
This puts back the dependencies as before.

Pull clock framework updates from Mike Turquette:
"The clock framework changes contain the usual driver additions,
enhancements and fixes mostly for ARM32, ARM64, MIPS and Power-based
devices.
Additionally the framework core underwent a bit of surgery with two
major changes:
- The boundary between the clock core and clock providers (e.g clock
drivers) is now more well defined with dedicated provider helper
functions. struct clk no longer maps 1:1 with the hardware clock
but is a true per-user cookie which helps us tracker users of
hardware clocks and debug bad behavior.
- The addition of rate constraints for clocks. Rate ranges are now
supported which are analogous to the voltage ranges in the
regulator framework.
Unfortunately these changes to the core created some breakeage. We
think we fixed it all up but for this reason there are lots of last
minute commits trying to undo the damage"

tegra_clocks_apply_init_table() needs to be called after the udelay
loop has been calibrated (see commit
441f199a37cfd66c5dd8dd45490bd3ea6971117d ("clk: tegra: defer
application of init table") for why that is). On existing Tegra SoCs
this was done by calling tegra_clocks_apply_init_table() from
tegra_dt_init(). To make this also work on ARM64, we need to change
this into an initcall. tegra_dt_init() is called from
customize_machine which is an arch_initcall. Therefore this should
also work on existing 32bit Tegra SoCs.
Tested on Tegra20 (ventana), Tegra30 (beaverboard), Tegra124 (jetson TK1) and
Tegra132.

can be used for thermal drivers to set minimum rates, or by misc.
drivers to set maximum rates to assure a minimum performance level.

Remove omap_clocks_register and dummy_ck. The former is not used anymore
now that the statically defined clk stuctures are replaced with proper
descriptors and registered with the framework.
The dummy clock in arch/arm/mach-omap2 is made redundant by the OMAP3+
clock data that migrated to drivers/clk.
An additional benefit to this clean-up is removing the references to
clk-private.h which will be removed.

As the legacy clock data is being moved under clock driver, the
clock data will be using the same low level infrastructure for
register accesses. This requires the clk_memmaps to be initialized
properly. This patch adds a support hook to the PRM driver to
initialize the mappings.

Moves clock state to struct clk_core, but takes care to change as little API as
possible.
struct clk_hw still has a pointer to a struct clk, which is the
implementation's per-user clk instance, for backwards compatibility.
The struct clk that clk_get_parent() returns isn't owned by the caller, but by
the clock implementation, so the former shouldn't call clk_put() on it.
Because some boards in mach-omap2 still register clocks statically, their clock
registration had to be updated to take into account that the clock information
is stored in struct clk_core now.
